Yeah no, Conquest just sucks overall. I'm not too good at the game myself, but I find myself dominating in every other game mode on MLB 23 on All-Star (except PvP, I'm not suicidal. Crazy? Yes). Conquest comes along and just say's "Nope." I can't even win a game in the 3 innings on Rookie. ROOKIE. I'm lucky if I can score a run in Conquest and keep the game low-scoring or tied, let alone watching the A.I. just blast every precise pitch I throw (used to be a pitcher IRL) for no-doubt Homers or perfect line drives for doubles plus extra. Having a good team means nothing (including the real-life habits of the batters) when the game mode just sucks. I hate playing it, but I have to, if I want to complete certain events that roll out for a week or two. It never should be mandatory. Optional at best like it is for the month-and-a-half long Team Affinity series.

To lucas8181: (since I dunno how to directly reply to you. Yeah yeah, old man jokes incoming)
So, you're saying you get perfect gameplay on the hardest "Difficulty" without touching the sliders, or adjusting only the CPU sliders to the max? I find that literally impossible to believe. I love baseball, but I can't enjoy the game if I have to humiliate myself to reducing the difficulty to Amateur and adjusting only my sliders to max to stop every near perfect (and most perfect) swings from being lazy fly balls or lame trickler ground balls for outs. Don't get me started on the pitching... Makes the game literally impossible to enjoy when I have no chance at winning a match, when I can't even compete against an A.I. at a competitive level, god-forbid a real player in PvP. You love baseball, I get that, but don't you dare become blinded by it.
Conquest hitting
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
