    Ohtani Rule in 23 RTTS?

Also frustrating when you hit over .700 in the ALDS and then get removed from the playoff roster in RTTS. That and the lack of hitting when you are pitching for your team is stupid. This is suppose to be a RPG. Kinda sucks the life out of pretending to be an all time great if the one mode that sells greatness lacks it!!!

  • Isn’t the point of being a 2way player...

So isn’t the point of being a two way player that when I pitch I can also hit for myself? This makes no sense to me that I don’t hit on days I pitch unless I’m in an inter league game. I get DH before and after starts, but way am I not hitting. If I was a manager why would I leave a .350+ hitter out of my line up?

I have a long list of issues about RTTS. Most prospects are half decent to start (especially the ones highly touted) and most 18 years I know don’t need a day off every third day, but what do I know.

RTTS needs a pre MLB story line. Either high school or college to progress your stats and up your draft rating. This would allow for the above issue to take care of itself.

Also if you out play the org expectations then you shouldn’t be sitting in the minor all year. Also getting left of the ALCS roster after hitting .600 in the series before is laughable. No team would leave a player that got off their roster! Not to mention I was 15-0 as a starter going into the playoffs and didn’t get one start lol. Think you THe Show devs need to go over the finer details, cause this something that has plagued the game for years.

I hope they look at the choice the org makes on your player based on performance instead of pre determine settings. I get having an outline for a prospect and wanting them to hit certain checklist, but no org would keep a prospect in the minors if they are going to be the next HoF.

Also the in game challenge can we get an update to this? The system lacks any reward sense of accomplishment. Think the training system would be great to take from and implement a silver gold and platinum tier challenge instead of choosing just one.

    Ex. Your pitching.
Silver = Get out of the inning without giving up a run (low reward)
Gold = Same as silver plus giving up 0 hits (med reward)
Platinum = same as Silver and gold, but you need to strike out at least two batters. (Receive all rewards from silver + gold and whatever platinum is) This would drive a more fluent reward system and not leave feeling like [censored] when you hit a home run but select drive a runner in on contact.

I still love the game and only offer my thoughts in hope that who ever reads this sparks an idea that allows for the game to get better!!
