Can internet connection issues cause user input to appear good on my end, but in reality result in a poor input in game versus opponent?

I suck at hitting. I am on average a wild card level player and I get by on my pitching. Occasionally I log on and get absolutely trounced for whatever reason. To the point that I just quit out of the game--talking 4 or 5 homers on what appear to be good pitches.

More of a vent than anything, but it got me wondering.

Ohtani FOTF with the 101 with a touch of arm side run is pretty rough to deal with for me

I took Newhouser because he threw gas and I figured players would start to figure out Kluber a little. He has been good for me.

However, Kluber's cutter, sinker, slurve are a nasty combo.

Marte swings it well but I think he's a touch slow for CF. I play him in LF and he probably moves to 2B sometime soon down the road.

Some changes I'd make personally: SP energy takes longer to regenerate & don't allow a SP to come in relief until all RP/CP have been used.

I try to use Oswalt, Sale, and Smoltz as much as possible. I use Saberhagen as a 4th starter, then I rarely use a 5th. My 5th is basically a long reliever for me.

I've had more hits since this patch, but I don't feel like I've hit for much power.

I had more trouble yesterday with this than I had the entire time since game release. Lost a game 4-2 yesterday where I allowed 3 runs on 2 dropped fly balls. Still could've won as I left to many RISP.

Played a RS game last night after showdown for most of afternoon. SP was Ohtani and it felt like he was throwing 400mph.

I've had runners break for home from 3rd base (less than 2 outs, no force) on a grounder to the corners and get thrown out with ease. Broke off the bat.

I haven't had any bad errors besides JD Martinez if LF, but that comes with the territory I would think. Biggest thing I've noticed is how sloooooooooow MIF move on grounders.

Im no good, but I do practice mode and only practice moving PCI to the pitch location. I completely take my hand off X. That usually gets me right for about 3 innings before I start uncontrollably swinging at every pitch again.

ETA: I also do this on legend.

I've hit quite a few homers with his live series card. Pretty good budget 1B, imagine it would only get better.
