All due respect to the devs who get a lot right with this series, but it’s absolutely insane to me that one of the main features of the game is broken on a standard Xbox controller – for two years now – and there has never been an official word on it, with the only apparent fix being “buy a new, wired third-party controller just to play this game, or pick a different platform.”

I have the same problem, the Xbox Series X/S controller is borderline unusable with MLB The Show games – and MLB The Show games only.

The issue is most noticeable with pinpoint pitching, which is laggy and janky, and the final movement before the pitch's release often doesn't register.

I updated the firmware with no improvement, and even got a new controller just to test it out and see if my unit was the issue. Same problem on the second controller, with both the stock and updated firmwares.

Could anyone from SDS advise on this? In other threads people say it's an issue with Microsoft, but it doesn't make sense that that's the case if the controller works perfectly in any other game.
