I've been playing MLBTS for years. Over the last two years, I've slowly lost the feeling in my thumb. I can move it, I can feel pressure, I can even type if I'm diligent about my accuracy. I just have no tactile feeling. The cartilage in my neck eroded to the point where some of my nerves were crushed. This caused intense debilitating pain and the need for surgery. Luckily, I will not become paralyzed. I've since had four vertebrae fused together, front and back. A long, painful, intense surgery, that will still need months to years to heal. I still might get most of the feeling back, but since the nerve in my thumb was crushed, it's more likely that longer I have no feeling, the less likely I will be to get any feeling back.
I used to be able to compete online. Never liked it, but I could do events and usually won around 1/3 to 1/2 of the games I played. I can't win at all anymore. If zone and PPP were the only options, I'd have to quit playing. I can't feel the buttons. Which makes me have to pay more attention pressing. Give yourself the stranger and give it a try. I'm thankful my left hand is only slightly desensitized. Gaming would, altogether, be gone if my hands were switched. Timing is not as good as zone. I used to only do zone and now I can't. Timing lets me play DD. We're all hitting more flys. That seems to be the major dysfunction of this year's game.
