Everything is too slow to even attempt to play. This site, and the game. It's taking 10-15 seconds to move from one square to another in conquest. I'll try again tomorrow.

If you don’t want to be involved in 10-15 slugfests don’t even bother with RS. Played a couple of games yesterday where we each had 10+ runs. The only game where it was less than 10 was because we both had Kluber going. At this point to win a game on All Star difficulty you’ll need to score at least 10. Pitching is not even a factor anymore lol
I won my last AS game 3-0. I had 11 hits, the other guy had 1 hit. Pretty easy game. Learn how to pitch and your life will be easy.
Lol!!! You just played a bad player
I've played almost 200 RS games, my era is below 2 with every pitcher I use. Really, learn how to pitch.
Well the pitching in this game is unreliable to start out with. I use meter and any minuscule deviance from the exact meter and the pitch ends up down the pipe. Now with the update, all pitches get sent 400 ft regardless. I’ll actually take you on your offer. What do you do pitching wise
I use Pulse, but I've been using it for years. Every pitcher has a different tendency, so learn how the ball reacts. Example: With Bob Feller, if you spot is slider just below the outside corner with a good release, he will leave it a little high, and dot the corner perfectly.
Feller's fastball is really accurate, so put it where you want it. He tends to hang his curve ball and change up, so put them a decent amount below where you actually want it.
Pay attention to tendencies, then adjust accordingly.
All input types work fine, so just go with the one you do the best with.
Most importantly, pitching is a mind game. Never repeat the same sequence twice if possible. Tunnel pitches once every few innings. And exploit your opponents weaknesses. Find what they can't hit, and make that your go to pitch when you need a strike.
Also, using an opener is a great way to scout your opponent before you select a SP. You can see his lineup, and what kind of pitches he struggles with.
Think im definitely gonna start using the opener idea
It's really helpful if you are paying attention. I tend to pick a RP with a high velocity FB, and at least a couple types of breaking balls (Change up, Slider is my preference).
You can see what they chase, and you can see if they're able to time up the FB. Based on that, you can then decide if you want to use a finesse breaking ball pitcher, or a power FB pitcher.
Now, if I'm facing someone who uses an opener, I give them bad information on purpose. I swing at things I would never normally swing at, and I let pitches I hit well go.
It's a chess match!

ok, thanks. Have a great weekend.

I was looking to see if that is what most players experiences were and some possible solutions we could request from SDS. But only sarcastic comments came in so I am probably talking to kids I make quit lol
Or maybe they should introduce a 30 minute ban for quitting like they do in Smite .
They community seems to be getting dumber which pretty much mirrors society . But I better stop here this post is probably already over 75% our your heads .
This is comedy gold! My man, you need your own youtube channel.
"I only get play the games a lose"
Followed by "This post is probably already over 75% of your heads."
You are correct sir, 75% of people have no idea what you are attempting to say.

See you tomorrow
I quit a week ago, I've had great pack luck (5 trouts), I've spent zero extra dollars and I've completed the LS collection.
I'm not even remotely missing the game, it's been deleted from my HD.
I come here hoping to see that the game has been fixed, maybe I'll make free space on my HD, but nope, same stuff.
For many of us "I'm done" really means I'm done. I won't be playing future SDS titles either. Too bad, all sports games are now on the same path of money grabs.

Super under rated card yall. Im assuming some/most of us took a shot at the FotF Bell so Hayes is only 2 easy showdowns away. Im loving his card so far. No HR but plentyyy of doubles, hits in gross spots in the zone (turns inside fastballs around for hits) and the glove is unbelievable. I know we got 100 3Bers in affinity 2, but I would recommend checking this guy out if you need a RHB.
I agree, I really enjoyed using him.

If you play the way you type, I'd quit too. No one has time for all that.

I didn’t like rdr2. Found it boring. God of war tho.....
What did you find boring about it? Curious, bc I was eyeing that one. I'm more of a Borderlands, Outer Worlds guy. I also have RE2 and SpiderMan I need to get on. None of these games are as aggravating as this one
I don’t know. Just couldn’t get into it. Moves pretty slow and a lot of mundane tasks. I’m not a huge fan of open world games but GTAV was much better in my opinion.
I definitely need to play Spider-Man one of these days.
This is true for the first couple of chapters as there is a lot of character development. I'd suggest you keep going, it gets crazy good fast in chapter 3 and beyond.

Stop giving feedback so much credit. The game works fine, the feedback does not, it never has. I'm early or late a lot, the game says my timing was good. Know your results, don't trust what the game tells you they were.

"I only get play the games a lose"
"All your base belong to us"
I'm not sure which is better, but both are top notch! GG

Oh you too? I had 27 Trouts in my inventory, waiting for a stub sell to unload. Now I only have one. SDS fix your game.

Meh, most people have stopped playing anyway (you can look up server activity, it's down 70%). With Madden dropping, and FIFA on it's way, the show will die a slow death this year.
Those other games give you way more ways to play the game offline, grind for great awards, etc. Heck, at least on FIFA you can play their BR mode offline and pick your difficulty. The show has a long way to go.

Try navigating the menu's, something broke the game. Not playable right now.

Arm is the least important OF attribute. You want guys with speed and above average reaction. I've enjoyed Cobb, but I still prefer Prestige Brock in LF.

I'll put it simple, his stats don't lie, he'll play like the beast he looks on paper on any difficulty. Also, once you get him, any stubs you acquire thereafter for the remainder of the game's cycle can be put to use on anyone you'd like to get off the market anyway. What difficulty you normally play on anyway? If it's AS you're not getting Sale's full potential anyway.
Solid opinion, but you ended the last 3 sentences with the word "anyway", -5 points for lack of creativity and repetitive writing style.

Hopefully this update marks the end of “freeze offs” and being called out when you beat a throw by 5 steps. I also hope there is a major crackdown on RS cheating. Fingers crossed.
I've played close to 1000 RS games a year for the last 3 years, I've never had a freeze off. Why? It's an internet connection issue, which is YOUR fault. So, upgrade your internet and stop complaining about a YOU issue.

The stars are for team affinity. I wouldn't pay so much attention to the "likely earnings" part. Look at the max you can get for each section, AS break, end of year, DS, CS, WS. If you do well, you will get the maximum points.
As a side note, you do earn XP and program stars as you play games, it's not a bad way to grind both at the same time.
