Cant even play a proper franchise since the rosters won’t update correctly

The game is unplayably horrible, even offline.

This entire game is buggy, even offline. I guess I was a fool for thinking that SDS would release a good, polished game, especially considering it was released a month later than usual. Why would they bother to fix issues that this game has had for years like pitchers constantly being hit by come-backers? Why would they bother to give the graphics any sort of update? Why would they think we may care about the continued horrible problems with aliasing and the character models (especially the sideline reporter) looking like they’re from a circa 2009 game? Why would they bother having roster updates that work? Who cares who plays for which team anyway?

Clearly this studio doesn’t care, since they are the only baseball sim in town.

All I want is the [censored] rosters to update so I can start a franchise (which is why I buy the game every year), but I can’t even do that this year. This game is practically unplayable

Why are the rosters so messed up? This is happening to me across game modes, but I keep trying to start a franchise with the White Sox, only to be continually thwarted by this infuriating bug regardless of which roster setting I use. They constantly have Jonathan Lucroy (who is no longer on the team), for instance, while other players (Yermin Mercedes, Tim Anderson, and others) are completely missing! They’re not even in the minors or on the IL, they’re just not there.

I’m used to this series being buggy at launch, but this is ridiculous this year!

A perfect / perfect line drive or fly ball, at least with a power hitter, should trigger the no-doubt hr animation instead of just having that happen randomly

Am I alone in feeling like the majority of my perfect / perfect hits go for outs? I feel like I’m much more likely to get a hit on a good / good.

For instance, I’m playing a franchise with the white Sox. I just hit a homer with Leury Garcia on a good / good, but a perfect / perfect fly ball with Jose Abreu was caught on the warning track. This makes absolutely no sense to me
