Do I have to buy it on multiple consoles?

If I buy a digital version of the show on the switch or Xbox one, do I have to also buy it on the other to play on both? Don't want to buy 2 copies of the same game, but I want to play the switch on the road and xbox at home because it has better graphics. Thanks!
