Agreed! They need a few things in Uniform Creator. But they can't even get the name and numbers issue taken cared of...for years now!
Such a good game, but far below it's capabilities because of so many flaws all over it. If OOTP could ever get graphics that are actually from the last 10 years, that would be the game to go to. But The Show has the up to date graphics and OOTP is stuck in the late 80s with their graphics. But everything else, The Show should take a lesson from OOTP...and other creators of the other sports games.

So, every year I buy the game and my wife gets me a 50$ PSN card to kind of jump start my team. Beyond that, I don't spend anything else. I manage to complete the LS collection with some years taking me longer than others. Last season took the longest even with pulling Ohtani on release due to the increased difficulty in flipping and so many LS cards becoming so called "gatekeepers."
I have seen videos posted at around the 2 week mark of people completing the LS collection with "No money spent," and I just don't believe it. Even today, with some prices having dropped from the release rush, the 14 most expensive cards are still running nearly 2.4 million stubs. Unless they have just gotten obscenely lucky with their pulls, I don't believe most of those claiming "NMS" are being truthful.
This is pointless, I know, just felt like ranting a bit.
I actually watch a lot of those content creators and can point out one thing most of them have in common - they are the ones who are brought in by SDS to test the game out before launch, and some of them are "partnered" with SDS and/or are influencers for The Show.
Don't you notice how none of them take a hard stand about the flaws in the game? They usually take soft stands (usually about something obvious and users already in an uproar about) that they follow up with by ending with something positive that promotes the game as a whole, despite its flaws. And they always avoid talking about the things the SDS avoids talking about.

Everything you can think of that can be editable, do it. From coaches to managers to umps to creating a name for my GM and Owner to MiLB options, ump tendency , managers tendency, edit quick count percentage for any pitch count possible. If I want 50% to be full counts and 50% to be 0-0, that should be my business. Pleas Sony, make franchise more sandbox-like.
I love the everything editable approach.
I can't beleive that no sports gaming competitor has ever thought of creating and releasing a fully customizable baseball game that is not branded by MLB. If they did, they'd take a lot of customers away from SDS...or force them to up their efforts at improving The Show.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that users should have the option to have a Cap&Floor system along with the ones already in there with Budget or No Budget.

As a stated in my longer post in the Franchise section, since the cycle of your team's work gets started on the game for next year sometime after release of the current game, this is as good a time as any for a post asking for stuff to focus on for The Show 27.
As stated in my other post in the Franchise section, I did not and will not buy this year's version. To me, while it's not worth the asking price, my main thing is that it's simply not worth the buy and having to build 30 new stadiums for my custom Franchise league. I think you failed to consider that when you emptied the Vault, you upped the pricetag for anyone that uses many created stadiums for play. The pricetag at that moment became the price of the game and the amount of time it would take for anyone to build back the stadiums they had and used before. For users like myself that use them in a customized Franchise league, that pricetag was the time needed to spend to build 30 stadiums. The game isn't worth it to me. But I will give my thoughts on what I need to see for me to find it worth buying and building 30 new stadiums.
Stadium Creator
First, I will point out that when your released the news that you would start the Vault with a refresh, I was thrilled. I figured that if your team was doing this, it was a sign that you may be making some good wholesale changes to Stadium Creator that made old stadium non-transferrable. In the very least, I was thinking that if it wasn't an overhaul, you would at least take consideration that many of us made so many stadiums in the previous versions that you'd kind of do what smart businesses do to preemptively avoid backlash, by giving those of us that use Stadium Creator some things that have been asked for - like bullpens off the field and/or roofing options such as reractable roofs and domes. However, you didn't take any measures that showed consideration to the hard work it takes to build stadiums. That was highly disappointing. with this said, I'll state what I want to see for me to buy another version of your game ever again. And I'll keep it simple and and short as I keep it to the must-haves
1 - The bullpens need to come off the field. There is so many things that make it ridiculous to keep bullpens on the field. If you want to improve immersion for Franchise mode users like myself, get the bullpens off the fields for Stadium Creator. If you did this, your game would be worth me buying and building 30 new stadiums.
2 - Give us roofing options such as retractable roofs and domes. If you did this, your game would be worth be buying and building 30 new stadiums.
3 - If you can't give us 1 and 2, then allow us to edit and customize the MLB stadiums you have in the game. If you did this, your game would be worth buying and building 30 new stadiums.
4 - Correct a lot of the issues, such as with the Batter's Eye, lighting, and spaces that are part of angles fence dimensions.Uniform Creator
As stated on my other post in the Franchise section, there's only one major issue with uniform creator, but you don't ever fix it. The names and nunbers need an option that is equivalent to the caps and jerseys logo options of Standard or Screen. It's incomprehensible how this is not addressed or how the tool was created without someone thiking that the names and numbers should have the same options as the logos for caps and jerseys. Without it, when games reach nighttime, the names and numbers' coloring darkens and doesn't match anything else on the uniform. Please fix this!
These are my asks. I need these supportive tools to truly allow immersion in Franchise Mode.
As stated in my other post, I love your game. I hope you improve it. Please consider my asks. There are many users like me. I want a reason to buy the Show 27.

Since the cycle of your team's work gets started on the game for next year some time after release of the current game, this is as good a time as any for a post asking for stuff to focus on for The Show 27. And I will give overall thoughts with te product as it applies for my use.
First, I will start with mentioning that I did not and will not buy this year's game. This was made after doing my due diligence by researching this year's features, following your releases on the YouTube Channel, as well as following many content creators that focus on the game - both ones that actually serve as influencers to focus on the positives of your game (essentially the ones you bring to your offices) as well as other who are very knowledgable in your game - each skilled in certain game modes and features. Based on the information gathered, I just felt this year's game isn't worth it to me - which goes beyond the price. It's more that it's not worth having to build 30 new stadiums for my custom Franchise League. Also, since I work in Analytics, I figure I'm going to do my part and hope others follow in suit with not purchasing in order for enough of us to affect certain parts of your business analytics that makes your team pay attention to what many of us have been asking for in certain areas. With this said, I will also say that while I will not buy this year's game, I will use the why in connection with what I want to see going forward.
Franchise Mode
1 - MLB is working toward expansion. I want expansion - with the possiblity of at least two more teams to add. You're going to have to do it when MLB makes it official, so you might as well get that going and sort out the bugs before it happens. I'll also add, other sports games have expansion that goes beyond two more teams - which I believe the NHL game has a custimazable league that allows up to 48 franchises. A total of 48 would be the ideal number of teams able to be made in Franchise. I'd love for that to happen.
2 - Realignment should be possible along with restructing of division formats. We should be able to move teams to any division, and we should also be able to switch between two, three, or four divisions...or even none at all.
3 - Custom branding and renaming of leagues and divisions should be allowed.
4 - Playoff structure should be more customizable.
5 - Rosters should be allowed to choose between real MLB roster or fictional roster that starts the league the way it will be 30 seasons later anyway.
6 - AI should be incorporated into audio for continued newness to the game that addresses the happenings in the league we are playing or running our teams in.
7 - Logic still needs a lot of work. In fact, it felt like it took as step back with the added trade slot. And it wasn't just in trades, but other transactions. There was even one on your broadcast that showed the Brewers non-tendering Jacob Misiorowski, Nationals non-tendering James Wood, and the Marlins non-tendering Eury Perez. There is no universe where logic or even common sense where those moves happen - and these happened at the same time.
Next, I will turn to key supportive tools.
Stadium Creator
I manage my Franchise team in a fully customized league of fictional teams and players in created stadiums. What I state about Stadium Creator is highly important for users like myself.
Uniform Creator
My gosh! There's only one major issue with this and you don't ever fix it. The names and nunbers need an option that is equivalent to the caps and jerseys logo options of Standard or Screen. I don't understand how this was not resolved a long time ago - or how the tool was created without someone thiking that the names and numebrs should have the same options as the logos for caps and jerseys. Without it, when games reach nighttime, the names and numbers coloring darkens and doesn't match anything else on the uniform. Please fix this!
These are my asks. These are what many of us need for The Show 27. I won't buy another game until these are addressed - especially in te hsupportive tools for Franchise, which are also supportive tools for every other mode - both online and offline.
And a little tip. the influencers that promote positively for your game do not help you with knowledgable baseball fans. While some of them were giving thoughts about your game, it was laughable and should've been embarrassing how many of them didn't know enough about baseball to where they were mispronouncing Red Schoendienst's and Phil Rizzuto's last names. They didn't know who Fred Lynn was. And there is one of them who has indicated he's a Yankees fan, not only mispronounced Rizzuto's last name, but along with not knowing him, showed he didn't know who Graig Nettles was either - which I'm sure many real Yankees fans would look at that coming from a so-called Yankees fan and scream. Again, those guys are not helping you prmote your game to people with baseball knowledge. The same way you have those influencers promoting the game as experts at playing online, you need to find some influencers that actually know baseball. Just wanted to point that out.
I love your game. I hope you improve it. Please consider my asks on this post. I want a reason to buy the Show 27.

@Jagg1976_MLBTS I agree. That's one of the things I refer to above. I saw that EA's NHL has this option to I believe a total of 48 teams.
Can you imagine the ability to have 48 teams in leagues and divisions we create ourselves? And to combine that with custom stadiums and the custom rosters that we all prefer to use? My gosh, that alone would keep many of us Franchise guys coming back!

Good to see the Stadium Creator Community chime in.
I agree, after poor communication, and clear neglect of Stadium Creator based on the very few changes/updates as well as the Vault mishap at release, SDS owes everyone that uses Stadium Creator straighforward communication about what will be done with it.
Personally, after this year's disappointment, I will not be purchasing The show 26 until I know it's worth it...and I get some of what I posted in my 'Must Haves' post within the Franchise forum.
At this point, as customers who have supported SDS by purchasing the Show, we deserve to know what's happening instead of some business effort that involves remaining silent to see if they can get people to blindly buy the game...only to be disappointed when it does not include features that many of us enjoy - such as the Stadium Creator tool.
Again, I won't be purchasing 26 until I see it has what I feel is worth it to me to purchase it to replace 25.
-
My staement about a salary cap/floor is not as a mandatory setting in the game, but as an option as we have now with budget or not budget, and add cap/floor as a third option. Eesentially we would have
1 - play with budget
2 - play without a budget
3 - play with cap/floor -
Also allow 3-team trades and increase number of players allowd to be traded to at least 5.

Here is my complete wishlist for MLB the Show 25. I apologize if I'm repeating any already mentioned. I sent most of these to the feedback on the site, but also added some new ones here.
I'll break this into categories.
League Structure/Formatting
1 - Please allow for reformatting of divisions and leagues...including realignment and increas of divisions and changing number of teams within divisions.2 - Allow for rebranding and renaming of leagues and divisions...and if possible, ability to upload logos for newly named leagues.
3 - Allow for expansion - ideally for me, up to 40 teams...along with MiLB affiliates for each.
4 - In Franchise Mode, allow an option for starting history of to start from zero - for teams, record books, etc. The goal would be for someone that created a custom league to have only the history of that league covered in historical stats for teams, records, etc.
5 - Allow for custom teams and uniforms to be used for other parts of the game, such as practice/demo mode. You already allow for custom stadiums and rosters to be used.
Stadium Creator
1 - Option to select stadiums or have props for bullpens that can be off the field. The current format seems so antiquated or for lower levels of baseball.2 - When a stadium is assigned to a custom team, for stadiums in cities that have MLB teams, remove the glitch that continues to occassionally display the logo/brand for the MLB team from that city on the scoreboard or laser strips. Only let it display the custom team's brand/logo.
3 - Give the option to have retractable roofs or dome tops for stadiums. Or even allow for us to build one over the stadium. In the very least, allow this for personal play.
4 - Try to have some sort of item (usually statue) that is the image of all of the nicknames that are available in audio. the few that are in there are great. It would be great evolution to the game if all of the other nicknames were represented.
5 - For the window props for the fence, fix the glitch on the blue window so it can be side-by-side the same way it's possible with the green window. Also, allow for the same window prop for all of the fence colors and types - such as red, teal, brinck, wood, etc.
6 - Offer smaller seating stands with each type (classic, modern, contemporary, future, etc.). And include box seats.
7 - For table and/or chair props, add option to have people sitting in them. Have this also count toward stadium capacity.
8 - Allow background to be rotated. For example, for the city backgrounds, it would be great if we could rotate buildings to appear behind different parts of the stadium.
9 - Allow some lighting to appear around the batter's eye area.
10 - Increase lettering types - both in the options for font styles and colors. Add number text to all lettering types - not just wood.
11 - Offer clear glass options for concourse.
12 - Adjust the seat color coding to match what is seen in the palette.
Uniform Creation
1 - Allow us to create uniforms outside of Franshise Mode. Create something like Stadium Creator, but for uniforms.2 - Add a uniform section to the Vault that allows us to upload uniforms and share them with others.
3 - Correct the glitch with the color coding for the number and player names. It seems that the coding has added off-color or darker color to every color in the palette. Even white comes out grey. It's odd that we can work hard to get our team branding material to match the rest of the uniform, but your numbers and player names don't match the exact selected color as the rest of the uniforms due to the glitch in the color codes.
4 - Just as we are able to change stadiums for a team mid-season in Franchise Mode, allow for the same with uniforms.
Rosters
1 - Allow the option to start the league with fictional players. The league eventually fills completely with fictional players with many years and drafts, so it is a feature we enjoy. It would be great if we're able to have the option to just start our Franchise Mode league with fictional players from the start.2 - Allow for the option for a Salary Cap and Floor system. You have budget and you have no budget options. It makes sense to also offer the option to start with having a Salary Cap&Floor as well...based on the average payroll of current teams, and narrowing both the cap and the floor within a range accomodating the avergae payroll.
3 - Allow for custom teams and their assigned stadiums to be used for RTTS. Also, if possible, include the possibility of RTTS being played with custom rosters.
4 - Keep track of player championships in the Awards section. It keeps track of quirks, but championships won is a big deal in player intagibles as well.
5 - If possible, add a section in player stats/data/information that keeps track of player postseason stats history.
6 - If possible, have a section that has a player's performance in recent games (like perhaps 'Last 10').
-
