After several tries I finally got it done.
A couple of key things I did, was to focus on picking guys who smash right handed pitching. The second thing was to anchor my PCI low in the zone against Ohtani, guarding against that splitter, and reacting to anything up in the zone.

I got into the Championship game, but it froze in the 2nd innings when I was winning. Had to restart MLB the Show, and when I went back it said my season was over, so I must gotten the loss and didn't get the Championship rewards .
