How can I still do the market? The game starts up as if I've never played before.....asking my experience level, etc.

Thank you!

Are all the diamond dynasty teams connected through playstation network?
Long story, but.....I had to cancel a credit card and order a new one. Didn't realize that card was connected to playstation network. Then my phone broke down, so I can't sign in to PSN because of the two step verification. I couldn't get an Apple appt for four days to replace my phone. Now my subscription is cancelled/suspended. When I turn on the game it shows as if it's the first time.
My question....when I get my phone back later today and pay for PSN, will my team and everything else return as normal?
I'm assuming so, since that would be a harsh penalty for having a lapse in your subscription but wanting to make sure.
I appreciate any help. Thanks! -

the guy said he hit 2 similar pitches with 2 completely different results. You said it's because its a video game. I think I should be able to win online homerun derby's with commons, but it doesn't happen. It should though, right?
You're outthinking yourself. Your comparison is a fail

Are there still a few AL teams that haven't been revealed?

Input time is taken into account for throwing runners out. If you react immediately to the stolen base attempt your catcher animation will act appropriately. If you don’t react quickly enough then your catcher will stand before he throws. It also matters who is catching.
I'm not so sure about that. To react any quicker, you'd have to be pressing triangle during your pitcher's windup which doesn't make sense. What you said makes sense for how it was before this latest patch

@turtleopolis said in Stealing bases!!!!:
What’s different? I’ve been throwing guys out still
Online? Don't know if it's changed offline. Before the patch, when a runner went for a steal you just press triangle and the throw meter pop up. Now it shows your catcher stand up before the throw meter pops up. Unless there's something else you need to do that I don't know about.....?

Its the throwing out the runners. Its been happening to me i see the guy stealing and im spamming triangle, he just pops and throws without giving me a throwing meeter. It happens over 50% of the time as of late. Dont remember experiencing it before this week.
Exactly. This is ridiculous.

I think it has always been like this. It is hard to steal
No, I'm saying now it's way too easy to steal
-
What is going on with throwing out base stealers since the patch?? There was nothing wrong with it, why did they change it? What do you need to do to get the throw meter up right away? By the time I get the meter up, the runner is justy steps away from the base

@BravesCountry95 said in Update 1.13 Discussion:
Since I updated my catchers meter isn’t popping up on stealing runners. Usually I’d hold triangle when the pitch was on the way to the plate then release it when it got to the green. That doesn’t seem to work anymore.
I had this happen last night too. The throwing window didn't pop up and just showed the field. Gave me a flashback to last year....and I just stood there and watched him steal second haha

Does anyone have any online stats for 2018/2019? I only have my stats for 2017/2019....plus the one or two games in '16

With the 90-00s theme we seem to be getting, I could definitely see Larry Walker. Maybe Sammy Sosa, Ryan Howard, Jeff Kent?
I know I'm biased, but Kent would be great

Just curious... what is the main complaint? I still enjoy the game and play fairly often, even though the sheer amount of home runs is a little ridiculous (probably because I can't win enough to break into the HOF RS yet). I see plenty of complaints about that. However, I tend to see just as much complaining about the good/okay contact... are there people who actually want every well-timed swing to result in a hard drive? Sure, it's a little frustrating when when you time a pitch down the heart and pop it up, but real baseball is hard; real players have plenty of pitches that they anticipate, time well, and just get a bit off-target with the barrel (round bat, round ball). If good/okay weren't a thing, people would score 15+ every game...
To start, "If good/okay weren't a thing, people would score 15+ every game..." simply isn't true. Most folks, some even with WS banners, struggle to truly square up more than one ball per inning.
The complaints almost entirely stem from good input, however you want to define it, not resulting in positive outcomes the majority of the time. It's a video game and users want to feel like they're in control, especially in a H2H setting where most are playing to determine who the best player is in that specific game, not who gets the best dice rolls (ie. defeats the purpose). Also, you specified timing which makes me think you use either directional or analog hitting. The hitting complaints are strictly from a zone perspective.
I only use zone too. It kind of feels like timing is still a big part of it, so not sure if that comment is proof that he uses directional/analog. I don't understand how anyone would use either of those....cpu aiming your swing?? Different subject, though

No shame in spending money if you don't want to waste time flipping cards and grinding....if you're in a comfortable financial situation.
For my outfield, I recently moved Mantle to LF and put Griffey in CF. I didn't think it'd last, but have had Tony Gwynn in RF ever since getting him. I just can't take him out of the leadoff spot. In maybe 400 ABs he's stayed around .350 the whole time and even chipped in five homeruns. Eddie Murray at 1B has also been killing it.... -
@ayman718 said in Decline Friendly Quit = Loss:
I look up an opponent's game log to see how they have performed in their last 10 games or so. I also check their lineup and how it matches up against the starting pitcher i chose, those are the things i review before deciding what to do with a friendly quit
How do you check those things?
-
You can still dive and glove the ball. Could be your fielders' defensive ratings
-
Thanks. That's rough. Was done for the day too, could've left it on. Oh well
