So, to the people who got the email, do you have an MLB THE SHOW credit card? I heard someone say that might be why some people got it and some didn’t. I do not have the credit card and did not get the email and I’m not trying to dig into peoples finances but just figured that would be one explanation

Thats rough man. Keep your head up! I've found the later at night I play the stiffer the competition gets. It really put a damper on my win percentage this year when my daughter quit taking mid-afternoon naps. Goodbye opponents with silver XP and rosters with rookie Mantle, hello diamond and ruby XP with Prime Mantle.
This. I get up at 3:00 so I can get some gaming in before the Familly wakes up and it’s scrub central. I’m really bad and I got my 60 wins like 2 weeks ago

1996 FS Brian Rose.

You get more than the inning boss for 120K though. You get to keep Chipper, Roberts and victorino. You also get stubs for locking them in, both from the voucher and the prestige program. Finally, this doesn’t seem to work As well as last year, but you can use the 75 point boost to get the boss while It’s still expensive, sell it, and buy it back when the price drops. You’re not gonna recoup 120K but you’ll make a few stubs
To answer your original question though, I would lock in 120K in cards for a Prime David Ortiz no doubt. Not sure about Mo.

What do you mean?
There is no way to know when stage 3 starts. I’m in the same boat as you. In the World Series with the cardinals but don’t need the points. The above person is right, it won’t be before late June but other than that we can only guess.

The next event isn’t “live series 2” it looks like a switch hitter event. I don’t know if they’ll let wins carry over or if they’ll have a “live series 2” later in the year but the fact that this is “live series 1 would lead one to believe there will be a part 2

I think the hitting update made fielding even worse than it was before!!!!
You can't drop this without detail for those of us not on game. What do you mean by this. Is it simply more balls in play leading to more opportunities for fielding blemishes or is the hit type variety returning us to the days of no lock on for IF pop ups?
It could be that the increased opportunities are further highlighting how bad fielding is and how urgently it needs to be fixed!
One of the first at bats I had with the new patch my opponent’s OF got the “oh! And he misses it!” Animation. Not sure who he had in RF or if he just got a bad read, but it had been awhile since I’d seen that happen
Update: it happened to me with Ronald Acuna right fed and I did t think I took a bad route. He was there in time and the ball just clanked off hum

Hopefully this update marks the end of “freeze offs” and being called out when you beat a throw by 5 steps. I also hope there is a major crackdown on RS cheating. Fingers crossed.
Enough with the cheating crapola. You sound like a broken record.
Funny you mention it, I just entered my first freeze off of the year so, no, it didn’t fix it

Thanks!!! I’ll replace it and see if it helps. Maybe the Coronavirus grind was just more than it could handle...

Has anyone else had an issue with the PCI shooting left and right randomly? I thought there might be something up with my Kontrol freaks but I’ll remove my hand from the analog stick and for like 3 seconds the PCI will just jump back and forth. My controller is only two weeks old so it shouldn’t be the issue
-
I definitely think we need more online modes in general since most of the missions are online only. If you don’t have time for a 45 RS game you’re kinda screwed trying to prestige someone most the time
-
I used both his gold and diamond cards in the showdown. Small sample size I know but I couldn’t hit anything with him. Second time around I picked Roberts and raked.
-
I think There’s too many variables for this to work. An early/good result at the polo grounds probably shouldn’t have the same chance to be a hit as it would in Oakland, for example. Also, the defensive alignment and players should have something to say about it. I would like them to post BA for results somewhere, maybe for each RS division?
-
The only time this really annoys me is when I have a stat mission and some clown quits before the HR counts. I’ve hit 4 HRs with FotF Gallo and I’m still at 0/3 on that stupid mission because of this. I think if your opponent disconnects before a play ends the above punishment, or something like it, should be in play. Also, I think if your opponent quits the game should continue with the CPU taking over for the quiter. This would also eliminate a lot of the beggars. With all that being said, I have no problem with people quoting early in events. To each their own, but I’m the opposite of you. My only goal in events is to get the highest rewards as fast as possible

Not happy about losing double points on MTO. They all but acknowledged that S1 Showdowns are bull [censored]. It was the only [censored] way to get points for teams in the East, those two Showdowns are bitches.
I’m just floored that your post has [censored] censored, but they missed both [censored] and bitches...

Showdown has been tough on me. Haven't gotten vouchers on any. Guess I'm SOL now.
I wouldn’t give up on them yet. I don’t know which was the last you tried but stage 2 and second inning are significantly easier than the first versions. Also, I beat the NL one this AM for the first time after failing twice and this was AFTER the patch. It’s a lot of luck, both RNG and what cards you get. If you keep at it the bill will drop in your favor just enough
-
The other thing to consider for HR derby is that, unlike collections or even VS CPU grinding, you don’t get any other rewards. No cards, no innings towards TA, no stubs etc...I thought it made sense for HR derby to give a little more XP than modes that also offered other benefits
