Been playing a franchise since the show 16, just did the 2028 all star game so I’ve played 12 and a half seasons on it but have to remain on mlb 20 forever if I want to keep playing it. So disappointing

Can anyone help me? I control all 30 teams in my franchise and when I advance from the end of the WS to offseason, for some reason half the free agent class has been signed to 3 year contract extensions that I didn’t agree to. I don’t have contracts set to auto
