What makes you think anybody cares if you play this game or not?

Don’t buy him he’s easy to hit every year and having 2 outlier pitches means he’s has 1 outlier pitch you can select with 2 different buttons. Plus it takes like 30 seconds each pitch for.him to finish his goofy windup and actually throw the ball.

I pitch as soon as I can all the time. I don’t see why you wouldn’t honestly it’s a video game it’s not like you need to catch your breath
-
I believe they don’t do weekend supercharges. They do them on Monday if I remember correctly from the release date live stream
-
Just use your stubs to buy the card you want. Think about how ridiculous it is to buy show packs and expect any return on investment
-
all the cards are juiced to the gills anyways, if you can hit with 125 contact you can hit with 115 contact this is way less of an advantage than you have it made out to be in your head.

With the captain boost can attributes play in excess of 125 or do they simply cap out at that point? Ultimately if they want people to use captains, the boosts need to be better and the captains themselves need to be 99 rated core cards. By doing this people would actually let the captain play and core cards would be eligible the entire game cycle.
On an unrelated but related subject Core cards. Any card you take the time to P5 should become a Core card.
This a brilliant idea

I turned messaging off years ago , haven't encountered these guys since

I have to say the extra challenge of grinding to prestige players has made this game more fun for me. As a mediocre player I have times I look silly hitting against a better player and it makes me happy if one of the guys I’m trying to prestige gets a homer or a coupe of hits. The times my pitcher gets lit up can if I manage to get out of an inning or sneak a couple k’s it really takes some of the sting away. That being said I finally actually prestiged my first guy. 93 Bob Feller. I’m close with about five others but It is such a relief to finally get one on the board. I was afraid my first prestige would be my next xp level up at prestige 5. That would have felt a lot less like I deserved so I’m stoked it didn’t come
that. I’m curious to hear what players other fellow gamers prestiged first and also where you guys stand at the moment for total Amount prestige cards -

I'm an average at best player, but with the big collections done, I'm considering spending more time grinding out prestige stats. What was your approach? I'm considering making a fully-prestigable team and just playing ranked and getting the states that way naturally as time progresses.
I pretty much have been using this approach the whole time since I completed the live series and the stud TA 3’s. Also I have kept current collecting each inning boss so I have more than enough players to prestige. I am very close to Gwynn and Thome who are my top two consistent performers and I am red hot with Walker. I get Biggio, Sheffield and Mantle enough at bats I should prestige them by the end of the year even though those guys run incredibly streaky for me ( mostly cold lol). Now I start Posada and Carew every game in RS even though they don’t prestige because I like winning and those guys get big hits for me.

Chipper Jones he was my best hitter back when I picked him as a boss and I benched him for higher overall players over the past few months but Chipper always finds his way back in. I have a legit god squad and Chipper isn’t going to move from my cleanup spot the rest of the year. He always comes though with big hits and has hit almost ever walk off homer I have had

I play mostly on all-star and very little hall of fame. I do my best hitting when I go up to the plate patient. I start looking for hard stuff fastballs, cutters, sinkers over the plate and up only . Let the low pitches and off speed go until you get two strikes, there’s no point in swinging at pitches your not ready to hit hard and You would be surprised how many hitters counts you end up in not swinging at breaking balls until two strikes
-
Yes I second this please make this man a juiced POTM card I’d have 99 Trout warming the bench in a spilt second for that Buxton card.
-
I play moments as little as possible but I do play moments and too when I start struggling in ranked seasons. Something about having to hit 3 home runs in 5 plate appearances when your lucky to see 4 strikes total really establishes some good hitting Habits and plate discipline

Walker is a top 3 Card in in the game in my my opinion and certainly the MVP of my team. I hate facing him on other teams too seems like everyone hits well with him and there doesn’t seem to be any weaknesses in his swing to exploit as a pitcher.

When will Jacob DeGrom's price finally fall? Because his price has only skyrocketed to 214,000 stubs (last I checked).
It doesn't help that the game teases me with National League... Starting Pitcher... only for it to not be DeGrom. It got old ages ago.
Can I count on his price dropping anytime soon? Or should I just keep praying that I get him in a pack?
Have you ever tried flipping cards? The margins are so wide right now especially on the Run it Back guys It doesn’t take much time to generate 200,000 stubs if you really go for it

I haven't gotten around to it, but might now that I have most of the basic RIB cards. It's just a heck of a grind after a while.
They could at least do an exchange, have us turn in a ton of golds for diamonds, or something. That might level things out a little.
What I do is sell cards in my inventory I’m not currently using with sell orders. Once they sell I use buy orders to buy the same cards back. What’s left is 500- 4500 stubs Depending on the cards. Rinse and repeat and I finished, live series In June , trout collections A week after it was released, team affinity all the way up to 100% with every team and now I’ve been entirely focused on chasing cards I have no business having like the WS and BR rewards. Also My live series stash Just from opening packs and keeping everything gold and below is probably sufficient to immediately finish stage 4 affinity when it drops. I did all this flipping cards on the market maybe averaging 10 mins a day putting in the orders I needed too and I’m so grateful I learned about flipping here last year.

There are a lot postseason cards we were waiting on that never came to be. Personally
I think the absence of a John Smoltz 93 overall 2020 postseason announcer card is particularly egregious -
Corey Seager can’t win WS MVP they never give that award to a player on the losing team
I have been away and here I am.
Walter Johnson pitch mix…
Quick pitching in the current event?
No boost for Trayce Thompson???
game is horrible
