I want to act surprised that they released this half-assed game but I'm really not. They take our money every year and then fail to communicate about any of the hundreds of problems in the game. 3rd week of the game and 2 game modes are pretty much entirely unplayable with no timetable for when their game will actually be playable. Back to Madden and 2K boys and girls!

I don't understand how the unhandled server exception error code could be a problem that is KNOWN by SDS on day 1 of early access and they still don't have a fix 3 weeks later. What the hell are they even doing? I'm tired of just having an obsolete game mode sitting on my menu screen. I'd like to actually be able to play the full game I paid for.

With the amount Ramone posts about the NBA on Twitter, you would think he works for 2k. No wonder he thinks the hitting engine on 22' is working fine. Pretty sad how out of touch the devs are with the community, and it has really shown with the lack of communication and interaction with the community. I mean it took over a month and a half for them to address the Unhandled Server Exception error for mini-seasons. It would e nice if they would do something for those who were stuck with that error or had to completely restart their season because of the error. If their goal is to make the community hate their game they are doing an excellent job!

IDK about you but I'm no money spent, and I just want the 10k stubs that I was 3 wins away from before I received the error that wouldn't have been a problem had they properly tested their brand new game mode before releasing it. But I'm glad you have enough free time on your hands where you can just restart and play 30+ games. I want SDS to have some self-accountability for their mistakes and issues with their game as opposed to just going radio silent on the community that pays their salaries.

It's crazy how these bugs don't seem to affect everyone. I just finished a season, without any bugs. Meanwhile my friend is playing at the same time and he's winning games and getting losses. And then he made the playoffs as the number 1 seed, and he didn't even get the rewards for finishing in the top 2 or just making the playoffs.

I think it may be console specific. I'm not for sure but it seems like the majority of the mini seasons issues are exclusive to PS4/XB1/Switch

I don't think it is console specific, I have the Series S.

Thanks brotha, its pretty sad that they have been so silent about these issues for the first 10 days of the game being out, and have just flat out ignored peoples issues. Hopefully they develop a better support system because they have a ton of issues so far.

I think those of us who completed a whole mini-season, just be met with the unhandled server expectation error in the championship round, should be gifted the stubs, XP, and Longoria card for winning the championship. It doesn't seem right that this bug has been known since launch day and they still haven't been able to fix it, even after their "big patch" today. It's not only prevented us from reaping the rewards of our time and effort but has also made the game mode obsolete.

But also in the last update, they said they were fixing issues regarding delays or people not being able to enter mini-seasons games. You would think that meant the unhandled server exception would e resolved, but clearly not. Idk how they can think it's okay for an entire game mode to be unplayable for a large number of players in the 3rd week of the game, without any kind of compensation. Also, the support team doesn't do anything besides give automated responses.

Releasing games in a beta state seems to be the norm the last few years.

I'd rather get the game a month later without all the issues that literally make entire game modes obsolete. I paid for a finished product, not whatever this half-assed excuse for a game is.

I get a server connection error when I try and use the companion app, anyone else?

Put in the time like the rest of us, and you'll have him too. Frankly, I think it should have been a higher collect percentage for the big collection reward (Griffey).

I've obviously put in the time if I'm 4 vouchers and like 15 cards away. I don't play online anymore because I just get matched against people who don't miss when they swing and this is my first year on the game. It's all tryhards now because its become Pay to play.

I guarantee at least 90% of the guys you face online this time of year haven't spent one cent in stubs this whole year. This isn’t madden or 2k man all the cards can be or at least could have been at some point easily earned by playing. Some of us even had to spend more than 30k on live series Trout if you can imagine that.

okay, but what I'm saying is there is no reason for an 85 rated John Smoltz should be 250k when he also has higher-rated cards. It would be nice if they would do something about the ridiculous inflation. Don't feel like that's a ridiculous ask.

As someone who started playing the game in August, so quite late, I am only 4 vouchers away from getting the Griffey card. But it's to the point where every card I need is 270k+ because it's from early on in the game. This essentially makes it impossible for me to get the Griffey card without spending money on stubs. But that's all they really want anyway, so it's no surprise they wouldn't make a fan-favorite player at least somewhat easy to acquire.

I had problems where it gave me a loss after I won, but if I were you I wouldn't waste my time with mini-seasons rn because even if you make it to the championship chances are you will get an "Unhandled server exception has occurred" message and you wont be able to get into a game.

@ Dev's why the hell is mini seasons (a brand new game mode) so glitchy? and now I've been told I have to restart my whole season because of the bug you didn't find before you released this half-assed game.

Shouldn't they be held accountable for when they had months to test this new game mode and find this bug?

Just trying to make sure they actually do something about it, seems as though everyone in my position is getting screwed and has to restart the whole season.

Try being civilized and go about it in the proper manner. That usually produces much better (and faster) results!

Clearly, people have tried that on this forum and gotten no results. The definition of insanity is doing something over and over the same way and expecting a different result.

I got all the way to the championship series with only 1 or 2 games counting as a loss after I won and now I get "an unhandled server expectation occurred". Its been a problem since launch and SDS haven't done anything to address it 10 days later.

throughout the season I had a couple of games where I won and the game ended and then the game just bugged out and gave me a loss. Other than that it was working fine until I made it to the championship round and now it has just been giving me an error that says "An unhandled server exception occurred" when I just click to try and open the mini-seasons mode.

Thank you! I've been saying that they hadn't even addressed the Unhandled Server bug since early access launch day. We are now 12 days out from that now and all they did was fix a stamina issue. They are just counting their cash right now and couldn't care less about the product.

If they actually cared they would've tested the mode properly and discovered that this would be a problem before even releasing the game. Especially since it's a new game mode, you'd think they would've wanted it to run pretty smoothly to get players engaged with the new model. Personally, I don't even want to touch the game mode after I made it to the championship and now I can't even play it.

I'm sure them testing it is very different than it being fully released to the public and everyone accessing the servers at that point. Not saying it's acceptable I'm just saying I'm sure they tested it(maybe not enough tho). I also don't blame you at all for having a sour taste in your mouth about the mode, I'm debating whether or not I wanna do it again myself.

I'm holding out and not restarting, just waiting for a fix and hoping they are competent enough to make it so you won't have to restart the season if this error occurred, otherwise I just wasted a bunch of time and will probably uninstall, not worth the frustration of dealing with SDS BS.
