Has anyone noticed that there isn't any wind while playing offline franchise?? I've played a bunch of games now and haven't seen flags moving at any stadium or the wind mph and direction indicator anywhere on the screen. I read somewhere that wind is only available on the simulation setting and not hardcore which I've been using but that seemed ridiculous to me. So I tried switching to simulation and still nothing. SDS is a garbage company for this. FIX IT !!!

Best argument I could make for simulation is a player using it would want results to mirror the players ratings and not allow their own abilities to slant their statistics. I use the Dodgers and Austin Barnes is a legitimate threat on offense for me but on simulation he probably wouldn’t be.
I see, so you think if the user is playing using the zone hitting PCI on legendary difficulty that they should be using hardcore because that way their input would trump player ratings? i.e. eliminating more randomness (RNG) from the computer like if you were playing on simulation?
I personally think your hitting and pitching style would be better suited for competitive. You’re too good for simulation. Simulation could cheat you.
You’ve confirmed my suspicion of simulation. Thanks brotha!!

I'm just wondering why "simulation" would be chosen over "competitive" for gameplay styles? I posed the question on Operation Sports asking which is better for offline franchise mode and I received the typical "whatever suits your style the best" answers which wasn't what I was looking for. Although, one person did say the type of control settings you use could work better on specific gameplay styles. They mentioned that using zone hitting and pinpoint pitching (which I currently use) would be better suited using the "competitive" gameplay style. Do you guys think this is true? Or is simulation still the way to go ?

So I keep getting the error CE-34878-0 completely randomly only while playing 2 player with another buddy on the same team.
I've tried all of the solutions to fix this error from all over different forums and none have solved this problem.
The part I don't understand is it has never crashed on me not even once while only playing my Padres franchise by myself. This has only happened while playing 2P on the same team during my Padres franchise.
It also seems to happen after one of us makes a big play at the plate (HR or RBI) and then the next batter will take a pitch or two and that's when the game crashes.
Would really appreciate any kind of feedback !
Does this happen to anyone else ??

I've had this error come up many time and its really annoying !! The thing I don't understand is when I play my offline franchise by myself the error never comes up. It only ever happens when I am playing 2P with a friend. We'll have just hit a homerun for example and then the next batter steps up and maybe after a pitch or two the game crashes and that error comes up. Again this only ever happens when we're playing 2 players on the same team in franchise mode.
Does anyone else have this issue ??
