Will there ever be a fix for the constant freeze-offs, lagginess, general poor-gameplay for co-op ranked games?

Gimme my 99 Duran Phillies card

@PriorFir4383355_XBL, this is the reality of it. I suspect it's due to a lack of investment in developers/managerial and executive decisions to prioritize profit over player satisfaction. The Show use to be the pinnacle of baseball gaming, in my opinion, and without viable competition (looking at you, 2K) there is no incentive to better the state of the game.

@Dookie-Possum_XBL I've had very competitive and enjoyable games in Gold I, even though I lost my WS game and am 1-2. Baseball is baseball

@sbchamps17_NSW it's a "flash sale", which inherently means it's limited time. A notification for such an event is paramount to players. What reasoning is there to not alert players of the flash sale? I can think of one: reduce quantity of users that can attain live series 88+ cards, thus keeping the live series cards inflated, resulting in more spending on stubs to attain the card(s) they could tentatively acquire from the flash sale. That, or laziness, apathy, malfunction... but I tend to follow the $.

I'm not sure why anyone would assume it's an ISP issue... As a cyber-sec analyst, I can provide detailed input, but the only impact I could see an ISP having is if they throttled DL/UL connections to PSN and/or MLB.
As for the game/the way SDS manages it:
It's a client-server model w/ P2P elements. It also implements advanced netcode to manage latency for smoother gameplay (this includes input prediction/anticipating player actions to compensate for delays, lag compensation/real-time adjustments for latency discrepancies from the P2P aspects, and tick rate control/maintaining a consistent update rate to sync game states across clients effectively.
The disconnection from the Show server is an SDS and/or PSN issue, not your ISP.

@Rhyno1986_XBL It's all star from 400-699. Championship series begins HoF difficulty, and you can match w/ 700+ players as a 6XX player and play either on HoF or all star.

@sbchamps17_NSW Based off the game's code, ISP likely has nothing to do with it unless the public IP is being DDoS'd or something completely out of the norm.
Crossplay modes introduce added complexity — games may balance tick rates or buffer sizes differently. -
@ViKiNG861987_PSN I know which video you're referencing, the program itself was rather interesting and unique. There is also a community script from Cronus available, so those users have access to certain mods that can be enabled/disabled on command (both Xbox and PS).
I'm a .500 record player but my ERA is rather solid, neared WS and have over 200 ranked games this year. I don't think it's easy to spot, but there have been games I've played where my pitching was great and regardless of the pitch/placement they just laced them.
