I understand if it’s online play, but in CPU games, why is there a complete lack of presentation in replays, etc versus when in Season mode?

Yeah every now and then. Almost never in outfield. I also still have barely any clue how the rob home run bit works. I think I robbed one in my life, got lucky. Do you jump on the last red circle, after it, who the hell knows.

Are all these complaints online only? I don’t think we’ll ever get a smooth online game until everyone is on at least gigabit plans. The SDS engine is so geared to offline play and precision timing, with the latency of online play, they just won’t cut it. They’d need an entirely new engine. Think Unreal

Franchise is best gameplay in years. But online, like always, is a crapshoot. It’s fun but it’s just night and day to an offline game. Offline presentation sucks. They got lazy. Spent so much time building a marketplace full of batting glove graphics.

Can someone explain the whole monitor thing? I’m on a vizio 65 inch with hdr turned on on a ps4 pro on faster mode.

As someone who’s played mostly franchise for years and just now getting into online play, I think most of these problems are online only, which by the way, is a huge pain. Why is this the only sports game with tremendous lag? A fastball coming in at 99, you need to truly guess fastball (not using the feature) to smash it, unless you’re lucky. And I’m a good player offline on Legend +. Base running online is also a [censored] show. All sorts of base running errors happen.

I hate having to use Strike Zone because you can’t see the batter. It’s more like playing a random computer game. However, I’ve found that the only way to really compete consistently on Legend and Legend + etc, is using this View. The ball moves so quickly and realistically, which is awesome, that without this view it’s just too difficult for me. I’m grateful that they have such high difficulty levels because before the show baseball games were too easy. That said, it’d be great if the devs could work on the other views being able to pick up the pitches better.

Think about what they could have given us with all the time, money, and motion technology they spent on trying to look progressive by putting a woman in the name.

Let’s take a poll. Is there ANYONE, ANYWHERE, that does NOT skip and view the entire Heidi Watney sequence as a massive waste of time?

A typical game vs CPU takes anywhere from 45-60 minutes. There’s gotta be a system where I can go to a Movie Maker and automatically create a highlight reel of all my strikeouts, from behind the pitcher in Broadcast View. Same thing with HRs, big plays etc.

The developers removed Movie Maker completely, for some reason, and you can’t create a movie with pre-set views, and they’re pretty useless anyway.

Also, what kind of ridiculous strikeout view during Highlight Reel is this behind the umpire view, where you can’t even see the pitch itself. I watch tons of baseball and a broadcaster would be fired for using such a stupid view to show off a pitch.

Took me 10 tries at least two get an extra base hit in first Moment: I must’ve had 20 Perfect Perfects. All singles or fly outs. I ended up stretching a single to a double by a hair. Guy has no power. Needs an update.
