Yall claimed to fix the pitch mix of pitchers last update. So many pitchers were ruined by your update . Did you even put any effort into this? Instead of taking the time to get it right you just decided to flip pitches around without changing the control and break ratings? For example, with Tarik Skubal you made his circle change his main pitch but you didn’t change the stats for the pitches . So he was 99 control with 65 break for his 4 seam and 87 control and 71 break for his circle change. Now instead of changing those with the pitches yall switched around you just left them with the control and break from the previous pitch mix? His circle change is 99 control with 65 break annd his 4 seamer is 87 control with 71 break… it’s laughable… Almost every pitcher you “updated” is even worse than before. Absolutely no effort into this. It’s honestly pathetic. Couldn’t have took the time to do it right Just change the pitches around and keep the previous control and break ratings from the previous pitches in those spots??? The inconsistency of the devs is sad. Simple research would show you that hunter brown has a knuckle curve not a 12/6 Curve… yeah yall really fixed the pitch mix lol

How about the rest of the face scans? Detroit tigers are missing half their team and they’re still in first place in the AL. Colt Keith, Wenceel Perez, Tyler holton, Brant hurter, keider montero have all been playing consistently for the last year/year and a half. Cam smith has been playing all year,hunter Goodman was an all star, Jordan beck has been playing for a couple years. Same with Hayden birdsong and multiple others. Top prospects and future faces of the MLb who have been playing all year or most of the year aren’t in the game….. chase burns? Cam smith? Chase dollander, Alex freeland, Colby Thomas, drake Baldwin, Bryce Matthews, chase meidroth, Jacob misiorowski, …. Ever hear of them? Clearly not….. do better!!!

Can we get Jose back?

Do the fielding ratings and animations apply to the cpu or does it only affect user Defense? I feel like players with below average fielding and reaction ratings (-50) are still making every play like previous versions of the show.

@RadioRosco22_NSW Sergio alcantara, Luke Williams, David villar, and Jonathan ornelas are close. If u want the bat fully on his shoulder I’d go with will wagner or Tyler gentry. Even Jose Devers could work. Trenton brooks works well for Bryce Eldridge. Nick sogard is pretty close to Roman Anthony. There’s a bunch similar to his stance. I’ve been struggling to find a decent stance for Cole young and Luis angel acuna.Connor norby works for Coby mayo, I think he changed his stance this year. Either that or the stance they have for him isn’t close. Also make sure u switch Ronald acuna and Lourdes gurriel to their actual batting stances.

Also Brandon pfaadt and Josh sborz don’t have their pitching motions selected. Gotta edit them and pick their animations.

Why are my players sliding into first base every play ? Actually they slide into every bag and prevent me from advancing or scoring runs…… it’s 2025 and the games been out for months! Still haven’t fixed this? Been doing it since last year. Do I need to switch it to manual base running and take off slide assist?

@fubar2k7_PSN it’s 2025!!! They’ve had/have players who have never played before! They used to add all the top prospects years before they played. Besides, half the guys I named have been playing for years!!!! Stop making excuses for a multi million dollar company with 2025 technology. You sound naive and settle for the minimum. Been the same game for years, same Commentary, graphics, minor league stadiums, same engine, same everything!!!!!!!! and they’re able to do that bc they only update DD programs. Turned this franchise into a lame card game. Their big update this year was to fix the fielding so everyone isn’t gold glovers, some lame ambush hitting and made a small update to the graphics!!!! It’s 2025 and they fixed the fielding lol. Should’ve been fixed years ago in 2020. The least they can do is release face scans and get the actual players in the game. That’s about the only update we get for graphics every year. All those noobs use that cringey hitting view so they probably neglect graphics more as well. Same batting gear, batting gloves, sleeves, arm bands, chains that don’t move. It’s 2025 stop settling for a game they released over a decade ago

It’s been months since we’ve got any new face scans and all we get is Cole young and Gregory santos???? What about cam smith, chase burns, chase dollander, still missing all stars like Jonathan Aranda, hunter Goodman, and Jacob misiorowski.

Can we get some relievers who aren’t old washed up white guys? , yariel Rodriguez, Juan morillo, Elvis Alvarado, Jose Fermin, Carlos Duran, eduarniel Nunez, Luis mey, Eduardo Salazar, Juan mejia, Elvin Rodriguez, Luis peralta, daysebl Hernandez, Etc or some young relievers like Seth halvorsen, Mason Montgomery, Ben caspirius, justin wrobleski, Dylan Dodd, Cole Henry, Tyler Phillips, grant Taylor, David Morgan, Justin slaten, Ben Joyce, Andrew Hoffman….

No draft picks like last year, no Ethan Holliday, seth Hernandez, Gavin kilen, Andrew Fischer, Liam Doyle, Marcus Phillips, Jamie Arnold, wehiva alloy, Eli willits, Kade Anderson , aiva arquette, Tyson Witherspoon, Jace lovilete, Zach root, gage wood????? Nothing?

What about the top prospects like max clark, Connor griffin , walker Jenkins, bubba chandler, Noah Schulz, ?

Confused how barely any were added before the game was released and then nothing til all star break. Then You finally add a bunch that should’ve been added at the start of the season . Then nothing after that …. Even the playoff teams are still missing starters. Usually yall neglect the Rockies, white Sox, angels but yall are sleeping on playoff teams this year….

Also Ryan McMahon, Evan Carter, Brandon nimmo, Nico hoerner, Harrison bader, Gavin Williams, Nolan jones, Alex bregman, Michael toglia, Logan o’hoppe and numerous others desperately need updates and Luis angel acuna, Coby mayo, Matt Shaw, Cole young, Roman Anthony, augustin Ramirez, Kyle teel, dalton rushing and a few others don’t have batting stances. Lourdes gurriel jr and Ronald acuna have their batting stances set to generic stances and have been that way for a couple years now……

Did they figure out how to get their current character scans to exist on previous saves? For example my last rosters didn’t have Jonathan cannons face scan, it was just the default face. I load my rosters today and Jonathan cannon has a scan?? If so, that’s the best thing they’ve ever done! Well done SDS if this is true….

Carson whisenhunt debuted, only a matter of time before bubba chandler, Noah Schulz, Brandon sproat, and Quinn Matthews debut… chase burns , Jacob misiorowski, and dollander still missing.

Jordan beck been consistently playing for 2 years, Goodman made the all star game but hasn’t been added bc he’s on the Rockies?

cam smith is turning into a star and has been playing all season. Brice Matthews is a top prospect also.

I know, I know, I’m sorry! It’s been a long wait for me. Franchise is so much better without the glitched out “created characters” I’ll try not to post anymore. There was way too many top prospects missing IMO. Thought they would’ve been added before the game released. Still missing a bunch but I’ll try to make yall happy and not post about face scans. lol.

It’s starting to look like a MLB franchise again! Still missing some top prospects but I can’t even complain…. Honestly impressed. They even added reed Garrett. I thought he was gonna be the next Josh h. Smith. (Josh h. Smith still holds that title) . If you guys add Chase burns, cam smith, Kristian Campbell, Jordan beck, chase dollander, hunter Goodman, BUBBA CHANDLER, Noah Schulz, Brandon sproat, Colt Keith , Hayden birdsong, Jose Soriano, Ben Joyce, Justin slaten, Ben caspirius, Cole young, Jacob misiorowski, drake Baldwin and maybe even Ethan Holliday when he’s gets drafted or max Clark, walker Jenkins, Aidan miller, Charlie condon, and Connor griffin that would be sick. I’ll never post about face scans again. ..I almost feel bad for hating on the devs so much after this update. Sorry SDS! Don’t waste your breath… they all have the same excuses and I continue to prove them wrong time and time again. I’ve accepted that they’ve turned baseball into a battle royale card game. I haven’t even played the game at all lol. I should’ve realized after last year it was gonna be bad but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Man was I wrong, This year is atrocious. Oh well, lesson learned. SDS ruined the only MLB video game.

They haven’t even added Josh smith lol. It’s been like 2 months. (After years of never adding him)

Chase Burns debuted today!!! He had a historic start and Struck out his first 5 batters. Top 3 pitcher prospect with Electric stuff. He should’ve been added before this game was released along with Jac Cagliogne, Nick Kurtz, Christian Moore, cam smith, Cole young, Kristian Campbell, Kyle teel, drake Baldwin, chase dollander, Jacob misiorowski, chase meidroth, AJ smith Shawver , etc…. Have all debuted! These aren’t just random prospects filling in for IL spots . They are the future of the MLB! TOP PROSPECTS!!!! Please add some players!!!!

Bubba chandler is gonna debut soon so will Noah Schulz and brandon sproat can we please get some of these guys. Ethan Holliday, max clark, Charlie condon, walker Jenkins, and Aidan miller would be great too!

Also, Can someone please let us know what the process is with this? Are we waiting til after the all star break? Why was every top prospect in the game a few years ago and now we’re still waiting for players who have been playing consistently for a year or a few years? Even last year wasn’t great but you added a lot of players. This year you barely added anyone when the game was released and it’s still almost the same rosters. So many top prospects still haven’t been scanned even after debuting. Just wanna know what to expect and why it’s so hard in 2025 but 2022 the game was loaded?

the player cards are basically irrelevant tho. He still doesn’t have a face scan in DD. The list of missing top prospects who have already debuted or are gonna debut this year is pathetic. The list of players still not added that have been consistently playing for a couple years is laughable…. Colt Keith, Jose Soriano, Josh smith, Jordan beck, hunter Goodman, etc …. SDS is a joke and they’ve completely neglected everything about this game other than DD. Same game every year . Those are guys who have been playing for a couple years consistently and that’s just a few of many.

The thing that gets me is they didn’t add any of the top prospects that were gonna debut this year before they released the game and tbh they still haven’t really added any of them. Nick Kurtz , jac cagliogne, chase dollander, Cole young, Christian Moore, cam smith, bubba chandler, chase burns, Kyle teel, Cole young, Jacob misiorowski ,etc. literally some of the top prospects in the game. The future faces of the show. Not to mention Kristian Campbell, drake balwdin and others who have been playing since the beginning of the season. They made sure we got Brennan milone, Daniel Susac, Caleb lomavita, and Cade bunnell tho????? It would be like madden releasing 26 without Travis hunter, cam ward, etc being in the game. Somehow college football has college kids face scans but MLB can’t get the top prospects???? It’s so bad it’s a joke.

I thought last year was bad and was hoping for a bounce back but that’s def not the case. It’s a lot worse than last year was. They recycle the same game over and over every year and it’s the same graphics, same commentary, same gear, same minor league stadiums….. did they even add where the rays are playing yet? Probably still the dome lol. The least they could do is update the rosters better and add some of the top prospects. If the graphics are gonna be the same every year the least they could do is add new player models and update face scans…. Instead of cagliogne or Kurtz getting added we got Jesus tinoco, Cole Winn, and Colin snider updates….. laughable at best. They still haven’t even added Josh smith and they’ve been trying to do that since their first “update”

They have completely abandoned everything other than DD. Apparently they’re the only people that play this game. No one wants a realistic baseball experience anymore. They don’t even attempt to update teams like the Rockies, white Sox, tigers, angels, marlins….. I’m honestly disappointed I bought this game. It’s basically 24 again. Oh well at least i have RUST to fall back on until GTA6 comes out.
