Please and thank you! Way too many top prospects and international players missing scans. Yall used to have everyone in the game years before they ever played . I understand your main concern is DD, but don’t neglect the rest of the game for the rest of your fans who play franchise (online franchise was sweet)

Also munataka murakami and the rest of the Japanese /korean players who signed deals with MLB teams this offseason.

The update says “ UA king of the diamond” batting gloves were added…… I still see the same old batting gloves…..

Thanks SDS for making baseball about grinding for packs…. The lack of effort into the rest of the game is a disgrace! Finally updating Sal frelick, Harrison bader, Pete Alonso? They should’ve been updated before the game released …. Oh and some garbage players for the padres? No tigers (still missing everything they were last year and they’ve been in the playoffs back to back years) ? Colt Keith? Wenceel Perez? Keider montero ?none of the Yankees like cam schlittler or will warren? None of the Mets like Brandon sproat, Jonah tong, Nolan McLean, dedniel nunez? Nope! Joey loperfido, Colt Keith, arranda, slaten Joyce, holton, birdsong have been playing for a couple years still nothing.

A lot of the top prospects STILL missing? Couldn’t add Chase burns, bubba chandler, cam smith, drake Baldwin? Not before the game was released, not during the season, not at all?

U ruined this franchise. What happened ? Almost every top prospect used to be in the game long before they ever played…. Now we can’t get top prospects even when they play all year and the previous year….. You are the laziest ,most incompetent, greedy company/devs ever.

Same game every year and you can’t even add the top prospects or young guys who have been playing consistently for years. Never again will I purchase this garbage u call a MLB game. I said that after last year but I didn’t think it could get worse than last year so I gave it a shot. Man you guys really proved me wrong. What do you know, it’s the same game!!! Pathetic!

Thanks for ruining the only sports game I have ever played. The only thing that made the game different every year was the new players added. Now it’s the same game, graphics, terrible commentary, gear, same minor league stadiums , same sinkers that don’t move and top out at 95 ( cringe) etc.

Kyle hart? Freddy Fermin? Really? What about Issac Collin’s? Caleb Durbin? Owen Cassie ? Samuel bassallo, Trey yasavage , Sal Stewart, Alex freeland, Drew Gilbert, , etc, etc, etc!!!!!! Just a few updated veterans like last time. Gee thanks for updated Jesus tinoco and Cade cavali Ryan burr!!! We want those guys!!! not the future of the ball clubs!!!!!! What a joke!!!!!! Shame on you. Not everyone plays DD and you have completely neglected everything else.

Congrats on figuring out a way to sell the same game every year. Oh that’s right , u guys “fixed the fielding” and added another “guess pitch” you must’ve put a lot of time and effort into this game. . I can barely tell you fixed anything tbh. The pitch mix “update” was the biggest hack job I’ve seen. You switched pitch order around but didn’t bother moving the attribute rating of those pitches with them. lol. So hunter brown had a 12/6 curve with 99 break and a change up with 60 break , now it’s opposite . BTW hunter brown has a knuckle curve you hacks!!! Do some resesrch. Almost Every pitcher you “updated” is like that. Hacks!!!!

More than claim to fix the fielding. It’s 2025 and you can’t even get AI in this game? It’s laughable but also sucks bc I love baseball and DD isn’t baseball to me. H2H match ups trying to open packs to get legends and the same roster as everyone else? Yeah, no thanks. When you got rid of inline franchise j should’ve known nothing about this game was gonna be realistic and basically the same as last year.

I’ve exposed SDS pitch mix and ratings “update” they switch some pitches around but were too lazy to do it right. For example they move pitches around but keep the control and break ratings in the same spot. So hunter browns curveball with 99 break is now 60 break and his change up or sinker with 60 break has 99. Almost every pitcher they “updated” are now far from updated …... Not to mention Hunter brown has had a knuckle curveball for a couple years and they still have a 12/6 curveball in his mix . It’s laughable and there’s no excuse. They put No effort in anything they do anymore. So many batting stances are wrong or outdated. Example, Michael Harris, Jeremy pena( hasn’t had that trash stance for a couple years) , nick kurtz (lol). Most of the swings aren’t right either. . Nick Kurtz clearly has a two handed swing. Put some effort into this game!!!!

Also, it’s been months since you’ve added or updated any face scans and you added one player? Jacob misiorowski should’ve been added before the release of the game and def before the all star game Considering he was an all star….. we just got him and literally nothing else? Crazy! Still no Colt Keith. Thank god for ea sports. They do better with ai on college kids than the show does with top prospects. It’s a joke. It’s 2025! Use AI if you’re too lazy to get it right !!!!

Basically added none before the release of them game and one update of added face scans before all star break and literally nothing since…. Please add some players!!! Way too many missing!!!!

Doubt you’re gonna do anything else this year so I guess this is a recommendation for next year.

Can you update some batting stances? So many are way off or outdated like Michael Harris and Jeremy pena. Harris changed his stance early this season but Pena didn’t even have that stance last year and yall still haven’t changed it.

SDS should hire a few quality devs that actually like baseball .. Most the current devs think of baseball as some lame card game and the only thing they know about baseball is what they’ve learned from DD. Casual baseball fans at best. Should be working in a place that sells magic and dungeons and dragons cards.

Also, it’s 2025. If you’re not gonna add face scans for top prospects anymore can you at least use AI like madden and NCAA football? No reason anyone should look like monsters or characters out of a 2005 video game.

It’s the same game every year. Literally. The least you could do is put a little more effort into your “updates” The pitching attribute “update” was an absolute joke. You switched the pitch mix order but didn’t bother to change the control and break attributes for the pitches…..

Another thing, pitch velocity. why do sinkers still top out at 95 mph? Guys are throwing harder than ever and you still have the sinkers maxed out at 95 like you did 8 years ago… once again it’s 2025. Doesn’t seem like it would be too much work to change that. 4 seamers max out at 99. Cutters at 97. 2 seamers don’t move at all and top out at 97.
Make some changes to the actual game that reflect current baseball. Stop neglecting everything other than DD and make the game a little better. Kind of pathetic that someone even has to tell u that sinkers are still maxed out at 95. I guess that’s what I should expect from SDS.

I’m gonna assume this is the last time purchasing anything from SDS. Last year was bad, this year was atrocious, seems like the devs are putting less effort into the game every year and I doubt it’s gonna be any better next year. this is the only baseball franchise and for all the people who love baseball and play this game for franchise or a realistic/relaxed experience, do better!!!!! Baseball is more than some lame H2H card game with maxed out players in every line up . Make MLB the show a baseball game again!!!!

This pitching “update” is laughable at best….
Instead of taking the time and a little effort to get this “update” legit yall just did the absolute minimum. So you changed ohtanis pitch mix around from 1. sweeper, 2. 4 seam, 3. cutter, 4. splitter, 5. sinker to 1. 4 seam, 2. Sweeper, 3. Slider, 4. Sinker, 5. Splitter. Which is the correct order. But instead of actually changing the control and break ratings with each pitch you kept the ratings of the previous pitches in those spots?? Ex. Ohtani had 87 control and 53 break for his 4 seam and 83 control and 93 break for his sweeper. Now he has 83 control and 93 break for his 4 seam (lol) and 87 control and 53 break for his sweeper!!! His splitter has 91 break bc it was in the spot of his sinker and the sinker has 64 break bc it’s now in the spot his splitter was in???? There’s no excuse for this, just pathetic! Way to go SDS devs!!!!

It’s not just Ohtani, literally every pitcher they “updated” now have this issue with their pitch mix. Just when I think this game can’t get any worse and the devs can’t get any more lazy or inconsistent and honestly incompetent they prove me wrong !!!! Well done Guys! lol what a joke. I’ve always wondered if the lack of face scans was a legal thing like most people think or just SDS neglecting everything but DD. then they release outdated face scans of players like hunter Goodman. Doesn’t look like they scanned him recently. This is the farthest thing from an “authentic baseball experience” all they update is DD programs and drops. They turned baseball into a lame card game to unlock packs lol.

Apparently no one else plays this game any other way. I’ve been playing franchise seasons with my friends since this franchise came out and every year it’s getting worse. This year is atrocious, basically the same game as last year and the year before but missing half the top prospects and young guys….

I haven’t even started a franchise. I tried RTTS and that was ok just not my thing. I’ve Barely played the game this year and I doubt next year is gonna be any different. Same commentary, graphics, gear, stadiums, animations, lack of face scans.

They’ll continue to neglect everything but DD bc that’s what most kids play and settle for. The same game every year with one new little “upgrade” and they think it’s the greatest game ever. Its crazy. In reality they “fixed the fielding” and added ambush hitting. lol. Fixing the fielding should’ve been done years ago when everyone was dolphin diving and making gold glove caliber plays. It’s 2025 and they just now “fixed the fielding” it’s hard so tell if they even did that….

Jose Alvarado is on the default face. It’ll be back to his scan next update. Bader is well over due for an update but so are a bunch of guys…. They’re can’t even get the top prospects in the game or guys like Colt Keith and Hayden birdsong who have been playing for a couple years. Or Jonathan Aranda an all star who has been playing for multiple years. Doubt anything is coming this year. One update of face scans all year…. Pathetic

@sbchamps17_NSW be patient? It’s been years lol! They use to have all the top prospects in the game well before they ever debuted. Gunnar, Witt jr, painter, house, Merrill, etc (everyone)

Now they can’t even get players who have been playing for a couple years and missing half the top prospects….

With your last “update” where u claimed to fix pitch mixes…. You didn’t bother to take the time or effort to do it right? You just switched the pitches order around without changing the control and break ratings?

For example raisel iglesias was CC, 4, slider, 2 now it’s 4,CC, 2 , slider…. Instead of taking the control and break ratings for the slider which was 76 for control and 93 for break and 80 control and 68 break for the 2 seamer you just flipped the pitches and didn’t change the attribute ratings with them? Almost every pitcher you “updated” is like this. There’s no excuse for a million dollar company to operate like this. The lack of effort and detail is mind blowing. I. Another example is max fried. His cutter replaced his 4 seamer and apparently his cutter only has 40 break bc his 4 seamer did. It’s a combination of laziness and incompetence… pathetic this is what we get in 2025!!!

Also, why do sinkers max out at 95 mph? It’s been that way for years and still haven’t taken the time to bump them up to 99mph? ( at least)I guess it makes sense bc You didn’t update anything! You literally put no effort into that update and ruined every pitcher you “updated” even with Tarik Skubal You couldn’t even take the time to get the Best pitcher in the league right ????

Yall claimed to fix the pitch mix of pitchers last update. So many pitchers were ruined by your update . Did you even put any effort into this? Instead of taking the time to get it right you just decided to flip pitches around without changing the control and break ratings? For example, with Tarik Skubal you made his circle change his main pitch but you didn’t change the stats for the pitches . So he was 99 control with 65 break for his 4 seam and 87 control and 71 break for his circle change. Now instead of changing those with the pitches yall switched around you just left them with the control and break from the previous pitch mix? His circle change is 99 control with 65 break annd his 4 seamer is 87 control with 71 break… it’s laughable… Almost every pitcher you “updated” is even worse than before. Absolutely no effort into this. It’s honestly pathetic. Couldn’t have took the time to do it right Just change the pitches around and keep the previous control and break ratings from the previous pitches in those spots??? How about the rest of the face scans? Detroit tigers are missing half their team and they’re still in first place in the AL. Colt Keith, Wenceel Perez, Tyler holton, Brant hurter, keider montero have all been playing consistently for the last year/year and a half. Cam smith has been playing all year,hunter Goodman was an all star, Jordan beck has been playing for a couple years. Same with Hayden birdsong and multiple others. Top prospects and future faces of the MLb who have been playing all year or most of the year aren’t in the game….. chase burns? Cam smith? Chase dollander, Alex freeland, Colby Thomas, drake Baldwin, Bryce Matthews, chase meidroth, Jacob misiorowski, …. Ever hear of them? Clearly not….. do better!!!

Can we get Jose back?

Do the fielding ratings and animations apply to the cpu or does it only affect user Defense? I feel like players with below average fielding and reaction ratings (-50) are still making every play like previous versions of the show.
