@sbchamps17_NSW bro it’s been years and years posting in forms from many of us to add things, simple things and this year was the definition of a copy and paste the proof is from 24’ rookie draft and they just implemented into free agency like I don’t know what more proof you need

@Victor_SDS_PSN I mean does it even matter none of my stadiums for last year load and has about 5,000,000 person capacity and 27,000 elevation so I know that’s not gonna be fixed, then even creating a new stadium this year won’t save the name of the stadium, won’t save location, won’t save elevation, so all my stadiums are titled “major cavas” and when I get to about 70% it’ll resort to a template stadium which is an issue from the past

Love the takes and I’ve always wanted an “expansion mode” imputed but I know that will never happen and I doubt any of these will be addressed, franchise mode isn’t a money maker for them so their last focus is on franchise mode this is one of the biggest copy and paste franchise modes I’ve played… the “new” free agent system they added was just part of last years rookie draft with extra steps and you can’t even front / back load contracts or the role they will play on the team

I don’t know why but seems to be a nice glitch in the game too, a simple name like “Caleb Durbin” … won’t announce or acknowledge his name so even when I go to edit player and literally switch the audio to say his name it still resorts to saying his number and position, not surprised with SDS

I am trying my best to reframe from using the most explicit words but it’s like you don’t even try all effort goes into DD and nothing for SC or franchise this is by far one of the worst copies of The show I have ever purchased, now as far as SC, trying to create new stadiums with every detail can’t even save it as the name of the stadium, even at 70% it saves and then resorts back to a template stadium, can load any old stadium and again gets replaced with a template or just blank field this is f ridiculous, i literally can’t enjoy any aspect of this game anymore

Yep this is the same issues as last year regardless if you just built a new stadium or trying to pull and old one it reverts back to a template build same issue as last year on release day, same show same result

Create a stadium, go to save after hours of work and lo and behold it switches to another template stadium, bruh this is the same exact issue last year, same issue with jerseys creation and reverting back to original, these are all last years issues and bugs moving into 25 what gives besides the laziness

As a Franchise mode advocate, it seems like this may be the year I stop getting MLB the Show until I see some real significant improvement. Based on the premiere it’s just seems like the copy and paste what they already had for Rookie Draft and slapped it on free agency. I will say I do appreciate the more life-like contact and numbers but taking away the role, front load/back load, opt outs, is kinda a kick in the baseballs. I’ve tirelessly written on these forums year after year hoping that it could some what create the environment of owners mode from pervious years, owners mode from MVP Baseball, expansion mode from All Star Baseball, but yet every year, the main focus is on DD or RTTS, while the franchise mode gets the good ole copy and paste but different location. God forbid, can I at least scroll to see the records for each team/ my team so maybe I have a guy that can set a new team record …. Nope we don’t have that info only the All Time records (whack), also The Show indicated they have worked on their “trade analyzer” but based upon the premiere, I understand some of the concepts of control vs a non controlled player but in what world is Gunnar Henderson 97 and +2 guys = Julio Rodriguez 93 that doesn’t seem realistic to me but yall can fight that amongst yourselves…

In conclusion as a Franchise advocate, more so “expansion mode” advocate I don’t think this is something Ill be interested in until I see major upgrades aside from the lack luster copy and paste

Im pretty sure Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, and many more had alot to to do with MLBPA …. But yet here they are in the game… isn’t that a kawinkidink… and buddy trust me I can appreciate any franchise give me a Derek Lee card from Chicago Cubs, a Reggie Sanders from the Reds in 95, Jose Mesa from the 96’ Indians… like I can go on and on just from the top of my head… I get it MLBPA has to have consent for players to be in a game but wouldn’t we be in the same place now even if these old teams were missing some players who don’t consent/sign?

Fantastic start to what SDS is trying to do, just a couple of things that I believe that the show community and SDS could get behind

1. obvious issue of no night games along with lighting of signs, rooms etc…
2. create “fan” interaction experiences…. Meaning the ball park looks dead besides the fans in their seats, need to add more action fans the could vary from a single person, to a couple, to a group, with actions such as walking, lounging, sitting, ordering food, sitting and eating so on and so fourth.
3. More customization of “created teams” logo… meaning templates to paste your teams logo around the stadium in the dugouts, wherever to show that the “Somerset Patriots” play in this created stadium
4. Thee Water! Any ball that hits water in created stadium comes in the form of a solid and bounces off water like nothing I’ve ever seen before, ideally the props that include “water” has to have the same outcome as hitting a ball into Mcovey Cove in the game
5. I’ve seen that minor league stadiums have props that are actually illuminated and moving, an example is the pier, it’s great but a Ferris wheel in the scenery of your outfield that doesn’t move the entire game looks eerie
6. again this could be factored into “people emotes” but could we possibly add workers to these concessions that actually seem like their up and operating to give players that actually stadium experience

Again this is a great start and look forward to expanding on this in the future but like I said SDS give me a heads up will get in contact for more ideas and I got you.

[SDS has become to aggressive with these repetitive players having multiple cards, and now that we have players like Soto on Det as a diamond?!

I get it SDS wants to make money, and releasing players from the past is great but releasing these same players over and over and over and over with different ratings just personally ruins the grind, essentially all those who got Degrom, and raised him to a 99 get a kick in the face once these All Star series cards were released.

Ideally in the future I get that SDS only releases past players here and there, but instead of killing the live series players with multiple cards why not make a series focusing on a certain years team i.e. 96’ Yankees, I’m sure more people would enjoy the experience of having to grind for a “Yearly Team” vs 2nd half, post season, yada yada card that is already used in the game. The yearly team can focus on other players and give a lot of variety, instead of 6 cards of Babe Ruth, throw in a Scott Brosious, Paul O’Niell, Bernie Williams … like [censored] even give me a Jeff Nelson… SDS get in contact with me so we can work on this … stacking and releasing live series players and just making them Diamonds doesn’t make it worth trying for live series (speaking for myself)… the Parallel’s is one of the best ideas I’ve seen… but it doesn’t mean a thing now thanks to your All Star Series … it’s very frustrating but I digress
