Seriously… when I was a kid you had to finish a video game before releasing it to the public. In the first patch you are admitting that there’s like 30 things wrong with the game. (My game doesn’t function at all, I can only browse the menus).

I spent two days troubleshooting my PS5 but was never able to play a game. Eventually gave up. Haven’t had issues with any other game or app on my PS5 ever.

Yea I’ve tried a few times, but will probably re-download the game later tonight as maybe the download servers have chilled out a bit…

My internet provider is Rogers (in Canada). I don’t think this is the issue because I disconnected the Ethernet and tried playing some offline exhibition games and it still crashes.

Booked today off work to play Launch Day with my friends, no dice for me. Can hang around in the menus, but every time I try to load into a game, moment, etc. I get a full crash and the PS5 CE-108255-1 error.

Anyone have any tricks up their sleeve that might help? So far I have tried:
Re-installing the game
Resetting my PS5 to factory settings
Changing every video output setting to lower settings

I’ve submitted a ticket, but any help would be really appreciated.

I’ve been trying to play since launch last night. Still haven’t been able to load into a game or a moment without the game crashing. Was able to play the menus for about an hour

For what it’s worth… the Drop 9 pack is now in there…

@nymets1987_PSN I also ran into this as I was waiting for a chance to pull Vladdy. Do we know if this has been fixed yet?

Because for someone like myself who has never quit a Ranked game it gets exhausting winning 2 inning games and losing 9 inning games... You spend 4 times as much time losing than you do winning. Quitters should definitely be penalized.

Well, I started the year 2-2 in Ranked because pinpoint on two of my starters doesn't seem to work out of the stretch. I know some others have noticed these issues as well. The pinpoint motions out of the stretch are impossible to match. Sometimes you can almost match them if you go half as fast as the animation. So...

I played 3 vs. cpu games to test a bunch of pitchers so I don't go into Ranked with any more glitched pitchers. Here were my findings if any devs would like to check them out: (was testing on HOF difficulty)

John Donaldson - pinpoint broken out of the stretch
Blake Snell - pinpoint broken out of the stretch
Raisel Iglesias - pinpoint broken out of the stretch
Jose Leclerc - pinpoint broken at all times
Bryan Abreu - pinpoint broken at all times

Here are the pitchers I didn't notice anything wrong with: Senga, Misiorowski, Burnes, Bautista, Chapman, Alvarado, Duran, Williams, Wagner, Fairbanks, Doval, Tanner Scott, Munoz, Alcantara, Flaherty, Cease, Rodon.

Hope that can help some of the community! Loving the game this year other than this hiccup.
