Just as it did in prior versions of MLB The Show, CPU Roster Control gets replaced with a second "Player Search" option (that does nothing when selected) after the trading deadline...
Acquisitions menu, after the trading deadline:
Free Agents
Player Search (does nothing when selected)
Player Search
Contracts
Please restore CPU Roster Control back to its location under Acquisitions.
