This is an honest question. To me, is it easier hitting higher difficulties against the CPU then lower difficulties in DD. I practice on legend and I always face either Cole or Buehler. I want to experience pitchers with high heat. After a while I am able to really see the pitches come in. When playing online, I have difficulties seeing anything. Just wondering if anyone else feels the same.

Thanks for the continued feedback my fellow players. I know I’m not an amazing player. I consider myself pretty good. But lately Iv been feeling almost like I’m drunk with these pitch speeds, reaction times and bad hits / errors. It’s lame

(TLDR: frustrated. Hitting stinks. Your boy is taking a break. )
This post is out of pure frustration. I’ve been playing this game since the midnight release. I remember my girlfriend asking me how it was considering my excitement leading up to the release. I told her “it seems really polished. I’m enjoying myself a lot!” I lost my first game but it was okay. I knew i lost due to my own mistakes. It was a 16-14 game but it was a lot of fun. I, like many I’m sure, spent some money on an Initial pack purchase. Got some nice diamonds etc. Then you guys released a patch, and I honestly don’t even recognize the game anymore. Squared up “okay” contact, perfect pitch release and location ends up middle of the plate. Practicing on legend just to be able to hit the fastball on All star difficulty. Opponent getting consecutive hits on balls in the other batters box. Outfielders forgetting they’re in the game.
Iv been playing The show since roughly 2012. I’m no where near good enough to be able to forego these problems. I’m not Mcgunski or Koogs. Nor have I ever claimed to be. I’m just a fan who honestly does not want to play anymore. Sure I can play RTTS, but the core of the game revolves around DD in my opinion. I’m going to stop playing for a while. I’ve gotten really toxic and when the content creators I watch even show frustration with the game, then I know it’s time for me to just hold off until an update comes out that the community as a whole is good with. Then I’ll come back and try it again.
I still love The show. But something has to give. I look forward to your next developer stream where maybe you can address some of the concerns we have as a community.
