SDS needs to mimic NBA 2K regarding RTTS, it’s become a stale mode that feels like a chore rather than fun/rewarding. What is stopping them from creating a virtual world that your RTTS player can exist and interact in? There should be stores for you to buy equipment and update your players appearance and attire, fields you can play mini games on etc. The whole stubs/perk system needs a revamp and should mirror the MyTeam/MyCareer card and reward system from 2K. I should be able to use stubs to increase my players attributes and not have to rely on perk or equipment cards with “boost” that enhance your attributes in some areas and drop your attributes in others. On the off days I’d like the choice to actually play interactive hitting and fielding/baserunning and workout challenges to improve my player. Also, the progression system and two-way player system/lineups need to be reworked. Far too often my player has a ton of pitching appearances with few at bats in comparison, hard to mimic Shohei type stats that way. There is no reason I should have to start out at a 50-55 with no stubs/VC option to increase my attributes and be forced to play every single game in order to slightly improve my player. Where is the story mode? Where are the cutscenes…interactions with the media? etc. I would like to feel like I’m a future MLB player with a phone and endorsements and social media. Start me off in Triple-A, the grind is tiring. If you want to start me in AA only require me to play key moments so I can progress the season and get called up at a much swifter pace. I’d like to spend more time playing with my player in the MLB than be stuck in the boring minors.
