They have to release an irrelevant Pache first because Robert will be better. Robert, Wander, Adley, and Gore won't be headliners unless its later in the cycle. Three of them might even be bosses. Mize and Adell essentially got pay or skill gap walled as exceptions as well.

Pointing out we're on pace for more 99s is such a dumb argument. Off the top of my head of those 42 99s, ten are new legends who deserve 99s, two are Adell and Mize, and Paxton is another. So obviously we'll have more 99s most likely. You can't add guys like Mo, Maddux, Mantle, etc and not expect more 99 players.

With the exception of truly special prospects like Wander majority of people want to play with usable cards of legends and flashbacks they know not FS. Not to mention they're basically going to flood the game with these guys too fast meaning most people won't even use them since it's already August. Is anyone going to want to use Luis aparicio or Pee Wee Reese this late in the game cycle. It's just filler content at that point.

If Ellsbury is getting a 97-98 hopefully they finally give Harper the 99 he deserves for his MVP year

The better chipper might not be until winter based on what we saw last year with early diamonds, so if you like the card definitely lock it in and enjoy

Hoping the 300 steal guy is Eric Davis especially with vision not mattering this year. Awesome swing, elite speed and defense, power in the 90s based on his other cards.

Its likely to avoid server issues. When they used to switch events back to back no one could get into event games for hours. Sorry you didn’t get enough wins, but it was announced plenty ahead of time when it ended

Why would they end the FS event so early before the LS event? Is this just another example of things SDS does that make no sense?

They didn't even "fix" the steal glitch they just made it so the batter doesn't run in time with the release it's horrible. Tried it in a showdown with breakout Cobb (99 speed 87 steal) against the Yankees. Miller stayed locked in place while I took two leads and then Cobb just didn't jump and Sanchez easily threw him out. SDS are laughable they just want stub purchases.

Hitting his sinker produces rng results if you even can react to it in time to line up and maybe be rewarded. Also most players have extremely small pcis against him regardless of what he's throwing. And most people are playing against him on events every single time which is hall of fame now and just amplifies those first two problems.

The fact SDS laughed he's going to be a problem like Kershaw last year and thought this was funny not a problem is all you need to know about how mediocre they are at game design.

And the game is worse than it was at launch. This is just ridiculous at this point, even if you like the game okay fine. They've tried three times to fix fielding and it's actually gotten worse each time. Whether you like hitting now or not the fact is they also abandoned months of data to change it based on bad pitching control and people playing on rookie in rs within three days of official release. SDS are a lost cause at this point.

Nothing matters in this game it is an absolute joke, I'm almost curious about the beta just to see if they listened to anything. All world defenders making baffling errors (especially at convenient rubberband times), hitting having no user input/reward, pitching being a toss up. This has nothing to do with simulating baseball, they can't even make the systems in place mean anything.
