@jake93436_PSN I mentioned bugs once, idec about franchise but I have seen people say the mode is borderline unusable. The other stuff I mentioned is of greater concern to me: the fact that they make no meaningful changes to the game and roll it out year after year
I am enjoying myself.
That being said, 26 is a more blatant re-skin of the previous year’s game than past titles. They changed the menu interface (for the worse), did a little work on RTS, and added some minor enhancements to the in game mechanics then charged $80 for it lol.
Franchise is buggy, stadium and uniform creators are the exact same, and only minor changes to DD so far. The storylines aren’t out yet but it seems like the Negro league museum people do most of the work for that anyways. I want to stop buying this game because of the complete disregard SDS shows its fans but I enjoy it too much.
@ref479ode_PSN completely get that. It makes sense to have it as an option for the first 3 innings or so but after that there is absolutely no reason it should be allowed
Absolutely pissed at myself. Opponent sent a friendly quit on the last out of a 12-3 game and I accepted because I didn’t know what friendly quit was. Who in their right f*cking mind would allow a friendly quit past the first few innings? Why tf is it even an option??
I am not very knowledgeable in programming/game design but I am wondering if it would make sense for SDS to develop the Stadium Creator Suite as a downloadable add-on to the main game so memory is not as limited? I figure this would allow for more detailed stadiums and make room for further development of the mode. Could also require members of their team to be assigned fully to stadium creator, leading to more consistent updates and growth of the feature. Or could they outsource it entirely to a third party? Idk I just want them to stop sitting on a broken feature.
Seems like a forgone conclusion that stadium creator won’t be getting an update in this year’s game, but i am still holding out hope. If done properly it could enable so much creativity and engagement in the show community.
