Hey all. There are a lot of SP you can get just from beating showdown a few times.
Anyone have good success online with them? I’m thinking I might take the time to unlock 3-4 to build out the rotation.
Curious if there any good recommendations for which to target
In 2019 I made WS for the first time (didn’t play much in 2020, so it’s been my only time).
I was sitting at 890, tied in the top of the 9th. Guy has a runner in 2nd with no outs. Strikeout, walk, double play.
Won it in the 9th with a walkoff single rbi. Awesome way to make WS
I’ll never be offended if you quit. Saves time, I get the win and my pitchers stamina isn’t used up.
The one thing I do hate is if I’m up in a game and someone requests a friendly quit. If it’s tied and we each have the same number of at bats left, sure. But not if I’m up.
Watch a game of top tier players on youtube or twitch. They put up a ton of runs on hall of fame. And they get good/good perfect/perfect line outs. They are playing the same game as you.
If you aren’t scoring as much as you would like, it’s because you aren’t getting enough good/good or perfect/perfect at bats.
Also what’s the score? If you’re losing you should quit.
Ok so I’m an ok player. Currently 31-6, against not elite competition- at 670ish so far.
Kluber is, by far, my worst pitcher. Both SP and relievers. I try sinkers high, low ect. I’m ok with his slurve and cutter. I have a 7 era with him. My 2nd highest is around 3.
Any advice? Anyone great at using him? I’ve heard he’s so amazing, so I feel like I’m missing something.

Bump. Still can’t get the box that shows the runners lead on. Any suggestions? At this point I’m playing blind when runners on first.
Weird, yeah there is no box that shows if the player takes a step off. I’ve tried 3 different stadiums. Anyone else getting this?
In previous MLBTS there was a window showing if an opposing base runner was taking a lead. I no longer see this. Any idea how to turn it back on?
Do people find they bunt wel with power guys vs the shift? Is it more successful than general bunting?
Is there a way for you to watch the entire at bat when you’re on base? It’s very difficult to get SB otherwise
You won’t get a ton of HR with him, but hes a solid slap hitter and very easy to get SB with.
Big help for me. I used a few and the only one which is helpful is the fifa striker one. Just don’t take them off, as they will come off super easy if you remove them a few times.
Pretty sure this is already in the game. Every person who has ever paid an incorrect percentage in tax has received a refund.
Alright looks like I’m getting 3 pitchers and leaving the other 2 as gold. Hopefully SDS fixes this. It should require 4-5 games to fully regenerate someone if they pitch over 90 pitches.
This is pretty ridiculous that you cannot save an event lineup. this should not be a hard request.
Yes I get it, what if they go diamond. Save the lineup, then check if it meets the standards.

The issue I believe was there were events that had like no Diamonds allowed, and a player would go Diamond on the update during the Event and you'd see Diamonds and people would leave them in their event lineup. I said fix it by ending events before rating update. but they felt it was easier to just not let you save lineup.
Yea I’ve heard that theory, but not from anyone who works for SDS.
And even if that is the reason; the answer is to ensure that only lineups that meet the criteria can register. The answer isn’t to turn this feature off.
