Set up 2nd account on ps5 I did mine through family account you will have to set up with different email and username

Then on mlb 21 website sign in just to the show website so the show is the only one connected

Then go to game get code
Then website type in code
Choose mlb account that says you will reset all progress that what I did and it worked

@GangaLlama_PSN had a post on another thread it worked for me using a secondary account

Switching profile thing worked for me thanks to the poster @GangaLlama_PSN
