    Attribute improvement

Also. I think awareness is a very important attribute. Whether it be fielding or baserunning or pitching. Knowing the situation and making the right throw or taking that extra base is sometimes the difference between a big leaguer and a guy in the minors. Maybe bring back baserunning ability and input fielding awareness or just add awareness as an attribute for the overall aspect of the whole game.

Also I always thought it sucked that since we have to start in the minors we basically miss the entire current season in the mlb. I think it would be better if we had the option to yes play in the minors, perhaps even start at rookie ball or A ball instead of AA to make it more realistic. Play one season where you get called up to AA and then AAA. And then after the season if you do well, get called up and start the current season on the 40 man roster and then make the starting lineup after performing in spring training.

I’ve always questioned why there’s a power attribute for right handed and left handed pitchers. I feel like power is power, it doesn’t change depending on a righty or lefty is pitching. Contact and vision is obviously different between righty and lefty pitchers but you can’t say realistically that Giancarlo Stanton has different overall power against a righty than he does a lefty. He can hit it 500 ft off of anybody. Now whether he hits 300 against righties and 250 against lefties is a different story.
Also for fielding, maybe to make it a little more realistic for infielders, you can add fielding ability to his glove side and then fielding ability with the backhand. Every infielder is different some are better with their backhand than others.
And for arm strength, allow an increase for your ballplayer on certain plays in the hole maybe or on slow roller where he has to throw it on the run. It doesn’t make sense that it increases more when he makes an underhand toss to 2nd to turn a double play but on a backhand play in the hole it doesn’t.
Just a couple suggestions there. Otherwise I do think this is the best sports game and thank you if you guys actually read any of these.

  • My ballplayer into franchise mode

I’m not sure why it hasn’t been done yet but it would be cool if you can be able to sign your ballplayer in franchise mode or possibly be able to draft him. And just like in RTTS, allow his attributes to increase or decrease depending on performance and training.

RTTS is always fun to play but it seems like nothing has changed the last few years. I think for future games it would be a good idea to kind of combine all the different RTTS features throughout the years.

    1. Instead of controlling only your player, allow an option to control the whole team and make trades and sign free agents etc… the computer trades and off season moves are not always realistic and it’s sucks if you’re on a bad team and can never make the playoffs. Or, when your player reaches a certain overall let’s say 90, he’s able to make team decisions like who starts, or who to trade for or who to sign in the offseason.
    2. Bring back the showcase before the draft and allow your ballplayers performance to decide where and when he gets drafted. It would be better if we can be drafted in the first or second round instead of automatically being a late draft pick.
    3. Bring back in season training like the older games. Live BP, situational hitting, situational fielding, situational pitching, etc… and depending on your performance in it decides whether your attributes get a big boost or not. Also bring back the in game showtime diving catch opportunities. Last few games I feel like there is never any diving catch opportunities that make baseball so much fun.
    4. I like how your ball player can have different load outs but maybe add a home and away loadoat to choose the colors of your equipment.
    5. Bring back the training goals during the season. For example, when you wanna train to increase your power it would ask you to hit 3 home runs over the next 3 games to receive a power increase, or if you wanted to increase your speed it would tell you to steal a base your next game.
    6. Lastly, allow multiple home run celebration’s depending on the situation. For example if you hit a go ahead home run in the late innings you obviously want more of an emphatic celebration. But if you hit a home run down 10 in the 3rd inning you obviously don’t want that same celebration.
