Got Trout and Ohtani live series from it. Didn’t have them before so I’ll take it.

Finished the Griffey moment via dashboarding last night. Had a surprisingly easy time with the Pujols/Chapman/Shohei/Kerry Wood moments last night on first try and secured Robinson Cano.

Just look at Twitter where multiple MyTeam creators started playing Diamond Dynasty for the first time and are RAVING about how rewarding the game is just for playing the game. 2K is a scam that thrives on micro transactions with <2% odds of pulling top cards in their packs that are $5 a pack when using VC. How is it a "scam"? 2K gives out plenty of cards that you can grind for. I use them all year long and do just fine.

The problem is there are so many babies out there who lack self-control. They want Tracy McGrady NOW!!!! Waaaaahhhhh wahhhh wahhhh.

The lack of impulse control and any kind of intelligence is the issue.

They could easily use the free cards, save MT, sell off their boosts, badges, shoes, etc...and then buy McGrady in the AH eventually.

At least that way, there is a strategy involved.

You really want to go into EVERY online game a week after the game is released and play against a 99 McGrady on EVERYONE's team?!?!?

Because that's what's going on in DD right now. Every game it's 99 Lindor. 99 Trout. 99 Ohtani...being used a the CLOSER.

That's the entire POINT of this post...

If MyTeam had 99 McGrady and 99 LeBron on EVERY team you play online 7 days after release...they would be getting killed online.

Yep just sell off boosts, shoes, and badges for maybe a couple thousand MT (if you’re lucky) for Mcgrady whose card is over 1,000,000 MT on the Auction House. TroyDan opened over 538 packs for Dark Matter Kobe Bryant. SDS makes it to where people can be NMS and get the best players by grinding the game. That’s a good thing. 2K’s community hates them and has a pack strike going bc of it.

I loathe Chase Packs. At least the other packs are common.

Play mini seasons games at blank canvas created stadium.

Pitch speed slowed down drastically for me when PS5 finally got VRR. Like stated above, it could be the refresh rate giving you issues.

I like the Twin Cities one. The rest are meh.

How exactly are these supposed to help with Collections when everyone already has the cards? Rollins/Mantle seems unattainable at this point.

485,000ish I think? I’m playing catch up on Monthly Rewards programs so I’ve had a reason to play a good bit.

It’s happened to me multiple times against bosses in showdowns. It’s infuriating.

I was having a lot of trouble completing these at first but have been completing them now. Some tips I can say is the failures actually help you get used to the pitchers you’ll see and that’s a big help. Bunt runners over every time to stay out of double plays. Helps a lot<

Completed the Charisma Showdown last night on the 4th try when I beat every other one this year on first try. I always think about bunting runners over and don’t for some reason. It’s a good strategy especially if you need one run and know you can at least fly out twice while moving the runner each time.
