Hof seems to be a realistic challenge this year as the balls fast with darting movement. It is a bit frustrating at times but it takes extra practice. Which pci set up do you guys prefer? I stick with white as it obstructs batting vision the least... used to be yellow. Also do you guys use the center dots? I find when im all warmed up and used to the game well i dont need them and get an even slighter vision boast on the ball but right now im using them for contact.

You just have to get really quick and see the pitch correctly off the hand immediately. It takes awhile and its not easy but its a well made realistic feeling baseball game.

Basehits and realistic baseball style makes those few homeruns rewarding and well deserved rather than those ridiculous homerun derby flukes!

Well said... i agree

I know theres a limit to how many created players you can have added to the free agents or teams rosters but what if you import saved created players in place of mlb players? Then would that work to fill all the mlb teams with your own created players?

With contact hitters I know that the pci contact is prone to be towards the bottom as opposed to power hitters where its at the top. Are you supposed to contact swing with guys like ty cobb and roberto alomar to get more base hits at higher levels in cs and ws?

I created about 15 players and now it wont let me make anymore, thats disappointing because i was hoping to jack up a roster with created players. Is there any way to make more? How do other people in the vaults jack up their rosters so that their entire teams are filled with created players?

Thank you but how do I import the saved players I already created?
-
So i have a bunch of created players I made based on physical appearance and stats and I want to add them to the free agent pool so that I can have a solid roster for custom leagues when I decide to run one again or even for offline rtts and franchise. These created players are saved in my vaults but they disappear from the free agent pool. I want to upload the saved players to my roster fast without creating new all players from scratch.

Yea, actually they do need to fix it so that the players lock on to the ball better. However in 19 they locked onto the ball too well. I think they had a good idea in mind by increasing the value of good defense of players with good stats but they just need to fix a few glitches by the wall or where they dont lock onto a popup.

I cant believe this! The hitting is such a crucial aspect of the game for which it even impedes the pitching and defensive aspects of play. The hitting engine is top priority above all..... and now it looks like this entire year will be played fantastically because they actually NAILED IT!
No really im not being sarcastic I enjoy this year a lot, the approach at the plate is taken from a realistic standpoint, the timing in all quadrants are right on the the power distribution and contact of batters isnt much to complain about. This is an improvement from 19 even tho that was actually not bad since it was a much improved version on 18 which was sadly all broken due to the poor hitting and pitching mechanics.
This years great so seriously.... theres not much to complain about!!! Lets just wait for them to release a lot of new cards.
If you wanna all complain lets complain for the canceled mlb baseball season.
