    Personally, I think it’s a step in the right direction. Playing MLBTS 22 on Hall of Fame with difficult sliders and I would get several hits every game with exit velocities over 110 mph which isn’t realistic.

    Now I do think they need to increase it some since I haven’t seen one over 108 mph in the tech test. But still happy the overall velo has dropped.

    FWIW, pure analog from years past is not the same as timing this year. The major difference is that with pure analog you also had to direct the bat with the right stick. Meaning, if the pitch was on the inside and you wanted to pull it, you would have to push the right stick up and left (for a RH hitter). So timing was not the only component of it.

    I can't tell you how many times I would have good timing on a outside pitch but roll over to SS because I didn't push the right stick towards RF. Because of the 'aim' mechanic, it caused the swing timing to be much more dynamic than it is in this years game. At least it feels that way. Now it doesn't matter which way you push the right stick as long as the timing is good. Really wish they would bring back pure analog; it was a very rewarding way to hit especially on higher difficulties.

    100% agreed! I'm pitching on legend difficulty with all aids off (strike zone, vibration, ball marker, etc.) and I also have the pitcher control slider and consistency slider set to 0. The sliders give me some deeper counts to drive pitch count but I am still racking up K's with pitchers that I shouldn't be. It's also nearly impossible to walk someone.

    Only thing I can think of is that they increase the sensitivity more on legend difficulty. Similar to what 2K does with the shot meter in NBA and the legend difficulty on PGA 2K.
