There are definitely still issues with the archetype progression tracking. I booted up for the first game of the day just now and played in RTTS, had multiple plate appearances, extra base hits, and stolen bases (all missions for my archetype program) and in the screen going back to the clubhouse it said "No Progress" and I checked the archetype program in the menu and indeed it did not add any plate appearances, extra base hits, or stolen bases to the missions. It seems to work intermittently, I have definitely had it track properly before with this update, but it seems like half the games I just get nothing.

General feedback for the 2-way player, which I'm actually a fan of as it lets me have a little bit of variety, but it needs more flexibility in that you can only be either a good position player or a good pitcher for any given game. Two thoughts:
I am a starting pitcher for a National League team. I obviously have my pitching loadout active, but when I'm batting I'm always in the 9th spot with reduced hitting stats as opposed to when I have my position player loadout, where I'm normally batting cleanup. Why would I suddenly be worse at batting just because I happen to be pitching that game? We should be able to specify a "batting/fielding" and a "pitching" loadout that are equipped at the same time so we are equally able to do both, not magically becoming better or worse at one or the other.
I want to be a daily position player, who gets called on to pick up saves as a closer. I would love to be able to play until the 9th in the field, and then take over pitching duties to pick up the save. This is obviously not possible in the current setup, and being a closer plus position player basically just means I'm a closer who gets maybe 3 games in the field a month, if I'm lucky.
Still not progressing
2 way player... but not at the same time
