Title is accurate. There have been so many days this year where I’ve been off work and had nothing planned, so I’ve settled down to grind RS in MLB the Show for the day. Almost without exception, after a game or maybe two, I’ve completely had enough and can’t stand to continue.
That’s the biggest confirmation that the gameplay this year is not engaging enough. There are far too many home runs, which makes every game feel very similar. Yes, we do have other types of hits, the old double down the line that just stays fair, then the outfielder gets it from the corner and does that crow hop animation before throwing to second, where the second baseman gets pulled away from the base so they’re safe. I see that quite a bit, yeah.
The one where the third baseman boots the ball, but blocks it with his body then recovers to make the out in time at first base happens frequently also. But it all feels scripted, repetitive and not at all spontaneous this year. It’s boring.
I agree, when I see a certain animation such as those I feel like I already know the outcome

The shift on Grandal is brutal as well
I reached 99 overall a little bit over a month ago. I think it has to do with having prestige cards and high overall relief pitchers.

They were either henchmen from an inning program, a event reward that isn’t available or a pennant race choice player
It depends, what other ones you have to finish? If there isn’t a cheaper route I guess you can wait till the prospect packs are put into a new conquest or flip to make more stubs

I started with around 1.5 million and I’m down to about 600k but since I prepped for affinities I can sell back all the extra silvers and golds when stage 4 releases

I think he’ll be hovering around 300-400k for the last week of the season. It’s hard to predict so I went off of how Teds and Piazzas prices were last season
