Look folks,

I am not a great player. I do not play on a computer monitor. I am totally in favor of certain pitches having unreal zip, control, movement or all of the above. However, it's just unrealistic and unenjoyable for a casual player on DD like myself to play.

I enjoy the H2H and I enjoy the variety in players chosen and faced. However, I can't be a casual player and play three games in a row vs 99 pitchers with 102 mph FB and 93 mph sliders.

I can chalk up an unbelievable 1-2 punch, maybe a 3rd kidney shot, but there has to be a solution somewhere in future years. You simply can't have a 5 man rotation of 99s that throw gas, precision, and deception. It's just not fun to always bat against an outlier.

There needs to be that game where you say, "OK, this has to be his number 4 or 5 starter. Lets go!"

I dont like to complain and I certainly lost my games fair and square tonight. But keep me clicking to play the next one, SDS.

I was outbid twice by $1 on the Price is Right. They do amazing camera work to avoid showing my mouthing of expletives. Last chance up there, it was my turn to outbid someone by a dollar and win.

I have played for years but not competitively much. I hear many people talk about active quirks. I would just like to know what that means. As I understand it, a player can have "quirks" on his card but they may not be "active quirks" so I am a bit confused.

Any help (God knows I need it) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone.

This is ridiculous. There is so much ish talked in an online game. This guy makes a "your mom" joke and we talk about banishing him.

If this is how we want to continue, I don't want to be a part of this forum or this game.

We are here to have fun. We play this game to have fun. I am tired of everyone trying to suck the life out of that. I cant even believe I have to quote "If you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen." Come on guys. We are really letting it get to this? Pointing out TOS and threatening to notify moderators to ban people? Really?

That was actually kind of funny. I don't like that we can just run to a moderator and shut people down. You need to have thicker skin.

I agree with the home team idea. I do not agree with being able to randomly choose when to enact sounds during a game. It should be like real life and that you should not be able to mute said sounds during a visiting game. I am all for eliminating the announcers on either playing side at a player's choosing.

I'm 50/50 on replays. I probably do it 5-10% but usually it's a situation where I took a quick pitch strike before bringing in pinch hitter or late-inning go ahead HR. But hitting a HR is big during a game so part of me doesn't blame someone that replays every time they hit one. Maybe they don't hit many on RS, which I play. I get that. I suck at hitting.

Sounds like OP let the sounds get to him on the last game he played. If that's the case, you lost the game in your head. I've been there. You have to move on.
