Not sure why but mine does it all the time. Not sure if it's a bug or what but I've gave up caring. Honestly wish they would remove the strike system (against earning XP / rewards) in general from MTO. It's not that serious.

Better roster mgmt in general is needed in MTO. Not only for playoffs (e.g. start of playoffs and between games to enable better strategy tactics) but also when you trade for a player...allow me to select who to send down in that players place vs the CPU deciding. There have been times where they sent down a player I wanted to keep up.

Keep scouting by prospect as that allows for specific scouting by position (if needed/wanted)

Instead of scouting by specific positions, make it more general with scouting for hitting and pitching within the various regions or groups.

The current format of scouting by specific position is too tedious/specific and doesn’t seem realistic. Even if there MLB scout are going out and looking at specific positions like RF or CP…it doesn’t make sense (especially with the limited feature and options, some baseball orgs have 20+ scouts) to do so.

If anything allow us to scout by groups such as infield, outfield, starting pitching, relief pitching…or simply hitting and pitching via international, east, west, central.

Background on me: I’ve played mlb the show since 2015. Played EA’s triple play before that. For this years game I’ve only played MTO and wanted to share and get some folks thoughts on some ideas I had for possible future iterations of MTO.

• Propose potential trades with other teams. E.g. give up x players for x player.
• Contract extensions (at any time)
• Player tracking (especially helpful for prospects)…your team or others.
• Call up anyone not just suggested players
• After player call up allow users to select the player(s) to send down
• roster changes/setup options prior to season / playoff starting
• For playoffs allow for lineup changes prior to next game (supports strategy tactics)
• It would be nice seeing multiple trades offers (screens) at the deadline, not just the one “blockbuster” trade
• Trade interest slider (not interested, open/interested, active) to tone offers throughout season. Would be nice to see cpu controlled teams have this…helps to possibly identify teams willing to trade.
• Use the “potential needs” or “team needs” (in trade management needs as ways to help filter suggested targets. Similar to how they work in the off-season.
• Top 100 Prospect rankings and fame rankings.
• Trade analyzer (e.g. what it would take to get x player)
• If fire bubble (momentum) is full/meter…than use extra fire bubbles (momentum) for player / team boosts. Or have levels to momentum and at various stages allow user to select different types of player or team boosts (games or series).
• See potential free agents for next season (allow for better prep for next season and current season trades considerations)
• Better/more contract options to free agents (payout type, incentives, etc)
