I’ve never wanted any change in this franchise more than i want the real names put back on the incognito cards.

Diamond Dynasty addict since 2016, and the out of position thing, for me, is worst idea they’ve ever dropped. This, coinciding with Vampire Survivors hitting PS5 on the same day may officially mean its over for me. I will admit Set 2 got me re-engaged in the game, but this just seems silly. This is a baseball sim, right?

@dpsheridan17 i agree! The show takes up almost the entirety of my gaming time yearly. If I can’t get my team back, i will NEVER play the show again. This will be the end for me

Anyone else think this another sneaky middle finger from SDS? Anyone with families are not gonna sit in front of ‘The Show’ on Sunday. My wife would be pissed lol, plus, honestly, id rather celebrate Mothers day with fam than play this years game.

No one has a problem with nicknames…it’s the execution of this that’s the problem.

The players don’t have names on their jersey. Certain names show up as BLANK on the scoreboard and in-game graphics.

Just use the name of the player and put the nickname on the card art. K.I.S.S.!

The way they’ve executed it is just awful.

This is exactly my thought. Hope they change it back. They is a LOT of backlash on this, i feel like more than ive ever seen for one thing they’ve ever done.

@GoldenGamingKM similar here. Work and family means i only have so much time to game BUT, its been that way for years. This is the first year that the amount of time to game is just not good enough.

I understand your frustration, i would be enraged. As hard as it is, the best thing to do is submit a ticket, and wait it out, try to focus on something else.

No ‘see ya’ from me. Im fully in the same camp. I will probably force myself to play some the rest of the year, to justify having the ps5, but ill just be playing for certain cards, not completing things. Example: the only 2 cards in TA3 i want are Brian Roberts and Edgar Martinez. Im heavily leaning toward this being the last year. Bummer, but its more frustrating than fun very often.

Guess all i gotta do is vent on the forum. After not coming close for a half hour, got it the next try after i posted.
