He wasn’t always built. Maybe making his body into muscular makes him took like Jeff Bagwell so they went with making him look like 1980 Rickey? It’s like the people who don’t remember McGwire changes batting stances. People use to be small so they can use their smaller bodies and their older stances if they can’t make their stances work.

He’s muscular but nothing like he was in the 90s. His body does look a little off though now that I played him again but I’m okay with the stance. I’m gonna assume they couldn’t make his head do what his head really does. Eric Davis’ stance isn’t 100% accurate either.

I mean they had his 90's batting stance in the show 18. It was legend stance #11. but after that year they stopped adding it. I'm not sure why, it looked way better than the one they have now . The more options we get for batting stances the better

It just looks weird..if u look at his stance in real life from the 90s, his head is not standing up right the way they have it in the game. And his front leg comes out farther towards the pitcher. It just looks weird in the game

Is it me or is Rickey Henderson's batting stance the ugliest stance in the game? His batting stance looked so much better in real life. I think SDS needs to remake his stance. He looks crippled lol. Crouched low and his head facing straight up lol they need to lower his [censored] head

I just started a franchise. I usually turn off GM contracts but it's locked now. Does anybody know how to unlock it?

I wrote an email to SDS and they replied saying he would be added in the game as soon as he plays his first game. My question is , if I have custom rosters would he just be included in my current rosters or would I have to create my rosters from scratch?

I am trying to create a 2 way player but I'm not getting the option to do so. Is there a specific way to do this?

I don't think so either but wanted to double check.

Does anybody know if we're able to transfer created players from the show 22 to 23?

I thought face scan was going to allow us to use outr players in franchise and exhibition modes as well. They also mentioned on a live stream that we can scan celebrities but how can we do that,?

The gameplay is almost the same or are you really going to say that there's a big difference between the 2 games? Lol no bro every year is the same old stuff in every MLB the show. U get some good legends here and there but then they take them out of the game..unlike NBA 2k that has all-time teams and all of the legends that we grew up watching. MLB adds some legend that the commentators never even talk about during a real game. And legends nobody cares about like Vida Blue and a bunch of other ones. We're in 2023 and they still don't have expansion teams. They actually make u r emove another team iand turn it into a new one i stead of letting us created an expansion team i to franchise. And then when u relocate a team you only get the option for 1 home and 1 away uniform. I'm done spending $100 every year

Is it me or is MLB The Show 18 the best year for the game? It has way more name audios for created players, it has almost every popular batting stance for created legends. It has the bat slams for Sammy sosa, for Gary Sheffield. And the game play and graphics is exactly the same as The Show 22. On 22 they eliminated a bunch of name audio, they eliminated a bunch of veteran a, all-star andegend stances and the gameplay is always the same every year. 22 was a big disappointment for me. If 23 is the same as 22 I'm going to return it to game stop and keep saying 18. I'm started to feel cheated. I spend $100 plus what u spend in DD and they just keep giving us less and less. I'm done

#21 - Mark McGwire (the show 20)

• Please let us create a batting stance from scratch where we can edit how tall or low the stance is and which direction the batter leans, bat waggle rotations, leg movement, head tilt either towards the plate or straight up...etc

Bat slams / flips

Please add more generic bat slams to the game to the already existing ones. We've been getting the same.one ones for the past few years and with so many created players that exist, it gets kinda boring to have so many with the same old bat slams. Can you please make these available for generic use? Also if u can make every unique player bat slam available for generic use that would be so much fun.
These are some of the ones we would like to see....

Generic stance 26 bat slam

All star 123 bat slam

Gary Sheffield bat slam

Generic stance 3 bat slam

Rickey Henderson bat slam

Sammy Sosa Bat slam ( the show 20 All-star 123)

Andruw Jones bat slam

*Let us use left handed bat slams for right handed hitters as well and vice versa

Animations
Please add Bo Jackson bat breaking on knee animation after a strikeout.
This game is not comete without this animation. It's part of baseball history and it made alot of us love the game even more .
Also, please give us the option of bat waggle with every stance even if the original stance does not waggle the bat.

Please give us the option of front leg movementt while in his batting stance like Steve finley.

We need more strides and swings.
It's been the same strides and swings for years now.
You can add strides like Bo Jackson's stride Which he keeps his back low and into the plate while bringing his front leg up and back to generate power. That also a similar stride to Rickey henderson' s 90's Oakland stride

Bo Jackson needs to be added to the game. Also the strikeout motion where he breaks the bat over his knee

-Let us create camouflage uniforms

• give us more letters and number fonts for uniform creation

• let us create at least 3 additional uniforma for existing team without having to rebrand them.

• let us relocate all teams in franchise

• 500 plus foot home runs during games by power hitters

• somehow make it possible to steal home plate

• let batters break bats on knees after striking out

• heated arguments by players and coaches after hit by pitch with commentary explaining whats going on

• give us the option to have our coaches and players argue with umpires to the point of ejection
