99s day one isn't hurting the game from what I can tell. I think people get too caught up on overall ratings. A lot of cards play better (or worse) than their rating.
However, the "re-grind 99" is hurting. People are having to do things over because progress isn't saving or is lost and rewards aren't being given. People having to re-do stuff they've already done in their limited time will be what undermines the game this year.
I submitted a ticket about this when I initially discovered the stars and timeline not syncing. SDS replied:
"There’s extra points each week, but if you go over those you don’t get a head start on the next week. Just save them and do them first thing next week instead of going over."
Wish I would've known ahead of time. lol
Yeah, it is definitely an issue. I'd say the 25k spin works 1/2 to 3/4 of the time. At first, I thought it was me backing out of the screen before the animation to run the spin loaded. However, that is not the case, and exiting to lose a reward shouldn't be a possibility for users. I've also seen what other users describe, the spin fails, come into the game next time and it runs, but no reward is collected. If the spin deal is flaky, as it appears it is, then maybe the system should just do a random pack award (without the spin animation - which is nice looking but not functional) in the meantime. That random award system at least seems to work in other areas of the game. Or just expand the reward path to infinity and do the random auto drop every 25k like it does for other rewards on the path.
I submitted a ticket awhile ago, along with an update with additional info, and never heard a response. No worries on that as I figured it was early in the game and other higher priority items existed.
