My issue is that RTTS is boring aside from actual baseball gameplay.

Please. Make it something that isn't... how you say.... boring. I mean, there was very little happening in the mode except "play this game, play that game". I retired, made the Hall of Fame... and it was represented by ... NOTHING. And I couldn't start a new player at a new position either. (Yes, I know there's a way to exploit the system to do it.)

But sorry, I have NO INTEREST in Diamond Dynasty. None. Zero. I'll never buy card packs with money or fun bucks. That's not what I want from a game. I never purchase VC in NBA 2K and I never ever EVER play MUT in Madden. (I don't play Madden at all. I haven't purchased NBA 2K in 9 years and counting now.)

College Hoops 2K9? That's what I want. Make something like that. Except MLB baseball.

Sony wants that sweet sweet live service money that NBA 2K enjoys. MyPlayer was distorted and destroyed by it.
