Agree 100%. Just make a generic stance socks that takes the form of the team you're on.

So much better this year. The token/skill progression system is so much better. Please keep it.

The equipment page shows an array of sliding mitts, same as the elbow guard, ankle guard, etc. So looks like it.

I'm all for the player-control only, but the lineups, once you get to the majors is AWFUL. Is there anything that can be tweaked for lineup optimization?
Example: CF for PIT. Bryan Reynolds is hitting 6th & 9th (LHP/RHP) and Oneil Cruz is only in the lineup against RHP. And the player hitting leadoff is slower and has lower hitting ratings than just about everyone else on the roster.
Can there be any potential option in the future for a Lineup control option "Yes/No" in the settings. We have the option to adjust trade frequency and other various settings.

Yes, for the contact archetype. I use this one about 95% of the time anyways.

This video. I use it. It works. I know it says for MLB 23, but the same hack works for MLB 24. Once you know how to use it, its quick and easy to do.

The game is too reliant on the servers/online connection to play without it....

aaaaaaaaaaaaand its gone

Yeah probably. I know how they currently do it, but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
For instance, if I'm on the Astros, i'll hit 3rd and push Alvarez and Tucker back in the lineup, despite higher hitter ratings. Same with Philly, pushing Harper/Castellanos/Schwarber back in the lineup. Just doesn't make sense, or at least little of it.

For MLB 24, can there be some adjustment made to where we hit in the lineup? I would honestly prefer to hit leadoff, but I'm almost always hitting 3rd. I intentionally go contact/speed over power, with my power attributes as low as 35-40 and I never train that attribute. However, through natural progression, once my player gets a little better and power goes up, I'm almost always moved to 3rd in the lineup after maybe a month or two.
Is there anything that can be done with regards to lineup spot for RTTS?
I understand Franchise mode has the single player in-game option, but it's just not the same and my preference is RTTS.

Through an update, or possibly next year, can there be a way for your player to have a strong throwing arm without having to use a Power Archetype, because that's the only way.
Not saying it has to be elite 95+ but if you dont pick a power archetype, you basically start with an average arm strength at best.

i know it's kind of annoying, but i used this and it does work. Hope this helps.

This ^^^^^^^^ 100% This! Just want the team stance socks option.

Keeps happening. Literally first game i played. Made it to the 4th inning playing a game in RTTS.

It's only on MLB 23 and I've never had this issue until this past 5 days.
The console is barely a year old.

The game will just randomly shut down while I'm in the middle of playing, taking me back to the PlayStation homepage. This has happened to me about half a dozen times in the since the release.
Is there any update or new information on the cause and possible solution to this problem. I've had to replay multiple games because of this.

If you're actually playing the games, you get the training opportunities. If you're simulating through, then you don't get them.
At least this has been my experience.
