In previous versions you could do it, this 21 version doesn't let you use position players for pitching.

It appears as a secondary position but I haven't found a way to put him as a RP.

Got thrown a no-no hitting al balls on the middle. No strikeouts. Five diving plays, two warning track fly balls. And some of you say that the game ain't wrong with online play?
Keep hitting line drives for outs, buy I get all the blooper hits, the bad fielding programming,etc.

The game cheats
So frustrating playing good, hitting good and losing to bronze on errors and lucky hits.
Suddenly all the hits my pitchers get are the unlucky ones for 5 straight games, catchers can't throw and Al my "good" hits are lined to CF. Just like real MLB.
Maybe, or it's my unlucky Quirk/Perk. Broze players hitting homeruns against 99 pitchers in the current event.
