Thats ridiculous. More people need to wake up the scam that this is. It is subtle dirty and people should be 1000000 percent against this.

I have only played a total of 7 games online in RS. Not exactly off to a great start (3-4) either. My 4 losses have all been to a Playstation player, and my 3 wins have been against an Xbox player. In the games against the Playstation users, the gameplay seems different than when I play play the Xbox users. The overall timing with dang near every aspect of the game is noticeably different. Almost as if the system, or servers, favor the playstation player. Does anyone else seem to notice this issue? I promise I'm not just making excuses for getting my [censored] smoked. This is the first game I have played that you can play cross platform. Is this something that's typical when playing cross platform?
It isn't just you. I just played a Battle Royale and it was laggy as all hell, and then the loser I was playing jacked a 2 run bomb because the comp was having my MLB pitcher throwing balls all over the place.
I don't know how NHL online games are smooth as butter for the most part with 10 moving pieces at all times and this [censored] is laggy as all hell.
It takes away from the experience and its mostly a joke. Online blows monkey balls because of this and needs to be stayed away from. I also have rock solid internet so it isn't from my end.

It's brutal. The 8 bagger with Vlad Jr was a [censored] too. Well at least they make you work for it. Grind, grind, grind.
-
I posted that it was broken and that is still the case. Here is the rest of what I have seen.
-
The strike zone is off. It forces you to pitch more in the zone and then the hitters with their Hall of Fame hand eye can do whatever they want with whatever pitch. High, low, inside, outside..it doesn't matter it has a good chance of being fouled off or hit.
-
Strikeouts are hard to come by. You can get lots of hitters at 0-2, but like I said above the ump will either squeeze you on strike 3, or you may rarely strike them out. As you progress higher the K rate increases, but still, the poor strike zone causes major issues.
-
Most of the fielding is okay, but the OFers are dumb as rocks sometimes. Throws to bases are laughably wide and they also drop balls that never happen in real life.
-
Hitters with 20 or so speed leg out doubles with regularity. That makes no sense. The ball always arrives a half second too late.
-
If you have the guidance from the catcher, on..nothing is better than hiding your mark perfectly and it gets jacked for a HR. Or, the catcher calls for a ball away, when the shift is the opposite direction. Invariably the hitter goes the other way opposite of the shift for a double.
-
Finally, if you miss your speed/accuracy bar by one bar basically, there is no reason for your pitch to end up a foot outside. None. I get the fact that your pitcher is young and doesn't have pin point control, but that needs to be better.
As I have decided to give it more time, it is a bit better than I thought, but the above issue sure add an element of strangeness that takes away from the overall enjoyment.

The game is still the same. I can't even count how many times I have the hitters 0-2, and they somehow lay off close outside pitchers 95 percent of the time and then get wood on a pitch outside the zone for a single or whatever. I mean cmon now.

Happened again. I won't play this game until they update the BS. I was 9-1 with a 1.85 ERA and .87 WHIP and now lost 4 games and my ERA is 3.50. This game is [censored] and it shows how they set you up for certain things. For instance, I threw a ball right down the middle, hit the bar and it went wide left to walk the guy. Next batter, pitch were indicated, and boom HR.
Proof that this game is out of your control at times if not always. I didn't all of a sudden start sucking at pitching.

I understand. It is frustrating and if you go to the sliders to make it more realistic then you get no xp. There is some things that can be improved upon. Don't know how easy a fix it would be to go through the code and see if it could be adjusted. It would be easier if the code was blocked off say if the umpire had its own code block or if it is in the ball to read if it is a strike or it might be the in the strikezone code.
Shouldn't be too difficult. Ball is touching the strikezone? It's a strike, just as it would be in real life. It would be a start.

My problem is when i am pitching most times it does not go where i placed it. Say it is bottom left corner of strike zone. It either sometimes goes bottom mid or further left out of strike zone this is on a 4sfb. It shouldnt have that much difference to it
Yeah the same happens to me, but that doesn't really bother me as I understand its a growing process and as a prospect you don't have consistent control. My issue is I'm pretty good, and when I make my pitch on the black and it rarely gets called a strike, it ruins the experience. A strike is a strike, especially when as I said earlier, have the plate discipline of a Hall of Famer. They hardly chase anything and the lack of strikes on the black is a big, big problem.

You might want to go to settings then general then advanced and look for umpire accuracy and change it to perfect.
If you read my post you would know I already did that. Pitches inside the box are now not missed, but balls that are 1/4, 1/2 and sometimes 3/4 in the box are called balls. Rarely a pitch that is half in and half out WILL be called a strike, but thats very rare. It is broken, and by doing that it forces you to come more over the plate and that sets you up for problems. No, it's broken and it's affecting the pitching.
-
I wanted to like this game. It has been years since I have played, and really like pitching. However, this game..after about a full season in the minors, I have realized I am starting to hate it. Why, well because the pitching is broken.
I have it on simulation but that isn't the problem. The problem lies with the strike zone. I had it on the "realistic" setting for quite a while, but got ticked off when a pitch would be right in the strike zone for strike 3 but it would be called a ball. Happened far too often and I would then give up a hit or whatnot.
So, I change it to "perfect". My [censored]. Here is a hint, San Diego. When a pitcher pitches and the half the ball or even a 1/4 of the ball is in the strike zone...it's a strike. The entire ball does not have to be in the strike zone. Hell even on some pitches when the ball is half in and half out..it's called a strike but not all. So what does that do? Forces another pitch that invariable ends up badly for me.
So that aspect is broken. I also can hardly strike guys out because 80 percent of the time my "paint" is called a ball when it should be a strike. Couple that with insane plate discipline from AAA hitters and it's a nightmare. 0-2? No biggie, they'll golf a changeup down and away for a double or something. So yeah, big problem and it needs to be fixed.
ASAP.
My packs tracker.
