There are many things this game needs to add in order for it to be more realistic than it is.
They need to add Era modes or Historic team modes or give you the opportunity to play with your favorite team from any year with that years roster for an entire season. Example.....I'm a Yankee fan and if I want to play with the 1985 Yankees team I should be able to. Or any year for that matter. In Franchise and online.
They also need to add a management mode where you can be the owner or GM of a ball club and control every aspect of that role. Hiring , firing, price levels of all that has to do with owning a ball club. Also dealing with players friendships and morale and Harmony between each other during the season. I want to be able to see what my team makes every game as an owner and do my own accounting for where the money gets allocated to.
In Road to the Show they need to add everything that has to do with being a ball player.....getting payed , moving into an apartment, then moving into a house and buying cars and boats and every other aspect a ballplayer goes through. Salaries and all of that. Are the players on your team best friends? Do they not like each other? We want to know. I want to be able to sit down with all my players and be able to negotiate contracts in an office with the agents.
They also need to concentrate on the little things that go on in a Stadium during the game. People in the stands spilling drinks and food. Mascots entertaining the fans , fans catching balls in baseball mits, real life stadium music, homerun
music, music after a base hit, music when a homeowner is hit. More injury occurrences , Maybe have a designated spot on a homerun where someone in the stands wins a car? Simply every little thing you can think of.Give us some real announcers. 3 come to mind.
1 John Sterling
2 Jon Miller
3 Gary Thorne
Get these guys in the game any way you can.
- To be brutally honest, they need to add basically EVERYTHING you were able to do in MVP Baesball 2005.
