A very average 315-285

Trying to suck every penny they can before they lose 1/2 their players to Madden in a few weeks lol...I don’t blame em.

The gameplay is smooth. Nobody is holding R2, bunt dancing or making me wait 4 minutes to try to trick me with a friendly quit & no network error losses.......If next year you could introduce weekly games vs the cpu where you could earn massive stubs like solo battles in Madden then I would never play ranked seasons again and I would definitely keep playing The Show past August. Cannot state enough how much I enjoy playing offline & how much I despise being forced to play the worst of humanity in RS. Thank you.

I really enjoy pitching with him. He hits his spots so nicely. You can absolutely paint with him.

That being said you’re sure to see people on here say how he got rocked yada yada yada...This is The Show 20. Everybody gets rocked sometimes even when you throw a dot.

It’s not sport vs sport, It’s the structure of MUT vs the structure of DD....MUT is way better in so many ways. Just a few examples...

You can earn tons of coins every week just playing the weekly modes - Solo battles & Weekend League...The Show doesn’t offer anything like that. In the show unless you’re a great player that can go 12-0 or make WS or spend tons of time working the market you’re not gonna make a lot of coins easily.

In MUT most good players have a power up card that starts as around a 70 overall that you can spend training on to build them up to a high 90’s card. In DD you are completely at the mercy of what SDS drops to you.

In MUT you can increase your team’s attributes by adding different types of chemistry to the team, stadiums, uniforms & coaches.

And the gameplay...You don’t have the RNG that you have in the show. The only RNG is when non user controlled players like a offensive tackle & a pass rusher are fighting.

Another thing is alot of people don’t know how it works because SDS refuses to put instructional videos on these games that would help clear up misconceptions.

Why does everyone always say “Mom’s credit card” or “live in Mom’s basement”? I find it much more likely someone who doesn’t live paycheck to paycheck & is independent is the majority of spenders on this game. Just my thoughts lol.

I've done plenty of the TA4 showdowns where I've had both Machado and Soto in my line up. There's no doubt that Soto is superior. The ball just jumps off his bat like no other. That said, Soto is leftie and there are no lefties in the TA4 showdown. Maybe Machado could be the best against lefties, but he is not better than Soto against righties.

You’re just talking about hitting though...I’m saying he is the best all around player. Soto is a liability in the field, That’s why I wouldn’t put him in this conversation.

Nope, I will throw 100 times to 1st if I have to...You have to...If someone gets a good jump they’re safe nomatter who the catcher is. No freebies will be handed out on my watch.

COD, DDA, Comeback logic...Whatever you want to call it is real & in all sports games. The companies won’t come out & advertise it but it’s there in the fine print. Business wise it makes total sense. If people lose three in a row & then win 3 in a row they’ll keep playing & spending...The goal is to keep players around .500...If they lose 20 in a row they’ll lose interest & move on to other games.

Its the same concept as rubber banding in racing games. Its annoying af.

Yeah..But it won’t stop any of us from playing. People like to get worked up about it but nobody will actually stop playing.

I haven't purchased an EA product since. I'm aware I'm in a tiny minority but there are at least a few of us

DDA is the least of your worries with Madden lol. That game is an absolute dumpster fire right now. SO MUCH is broken on that game right now. It’s sad how bad that franchise has gotten.

Someone on here a few weeks ago was trying to claim The Show was worse than Madden.

The Show has it’s issues but it’s nowhere near as bad as Madden is now. I’ve played The Show since 15 & I’ve played Madden since 1995. This was the first year that I actually quit playing Madden - It’s absolutely unplayable.

People will laugh at this one but...Cliff Lee. I can locate with him with pinpoint accuracy 95% of the time. People also don’t see him alot so there’s value in that. And yes, I know his H/9 are not ideal but I don’t give up any more hits with him than I do any of my other starters. Give him a shot & see for yourself.

I’m watching the Fiesta Bowl right now & Playstation is the main sponsor. It’s basically a PS5 commercial every other one. I’ve seen TONS of PS5 commercials this entire week during sporting events I’ve watched. This must be costing Sony millions of dollars. My question is why? There are still none available on any non scalper sites & most people don’t expect them to be readily available until much later in the year. Why waste all that money on advertising for a product you can’t deliver for 6 months? Just thinking out loud.

I'm 44 years old, and I remember that, but I figured in a video game it was frowned upon.

Others might but myself & any fan of the game of baseball knows the act of walking a hitter to get to another is as old as the game itself. You do you - You don’t owe anyone any apology.

In reading these comments I think the majority of us feel the same way...We all love Kevin because he’s the average Joe player that we can all relate to & he makes us laugh. It seems the content creators need to take note & change their approach. While guys like Rebel, Kyle, Koogs, ect are incredible players & can hit 20 bombs a game...Nobody wants to watch that - It’s depressing for the majority of us to watch guys do easily what we’ll never be able to do. It’s unhealthy to watch them honestly.

I actually unfollowed all Show related people on twitter & on you tube (except Kevin lol). Because of this exact thing. People get in SUCH a hurry and have to get everything done ASAP. It’s ridiculous, I don’t need that stress in a video game.

It’s not just you. I got to 870 and then did a swan dive back to the low 600’s. This seems to happen to ALOT of people. I think it’s something in the game coding where once you reach a certain point it starts matching you up with players that are a bad matchup for you. This doesn’t happen in any other sports game, That’s why I think it’s something coded in The Show.

Dude it’s totally worth it. And the time is all of a couple days before you’re maxed out. These are end game cards if done right. Mine is a switch hitting left fielder with 99 power from both sides, 99 speed & stealing & fielding attributes are in the 90’s. Absolutely worth it.
