Here's yet another person batting .182 with a record of 16-42, yet has had a co-op rating well into the 800's. He's sporting the World Series icon, of course. I have him on mic saying he's about to glitch this one because he "doesn't know about the roster" lol.

As a software engineer, this is straight up unprofessional. People would be fired for this anywhere else. They’re not even acknowledging that there’s an issue.
Everyone knows about this now. Either my teammate quits and we get the win, or the opponent does it first. Last night, dude got on the mike and begged with me to quit so we get the win. After 5 in a row, it’s clear that co op is completely broken now. Ironically there are more people on the lobbies now… fishing for the WS and 1000 logos. It seems everyone has one now. I just played someone in events batting around .200. Could not hit a fastball to save his life. But hey, he’s 1000

I am able to connect with a different account. What’s going on?
I have not been able to connect to any online content whatsoever today. I keep getting “the server cannot be accessed at this time”.
I’ve tried reinstalling the game (ps5). I’ve tried switching networks to tether from my phone to confirm no firewall rules have changed on my network. It’s like SDS has kicked me out, and I don’t know why.
I’ve submitted a support ticket, but nobody has responded. SDS, please look into this. I’ve spent plenty of money in-game, and this just isn’t right.

My co-op rating has lost many hundreds of points this year over freeze-offs and teammates quitting. Rather than fixing the many issues with co-op match-making and ratings, it appears now you can win and be rewarded with negative points! Seriously, look:
Today I lost two games in which we had massive leads due to the opponents rage quitting. We confirmed with the opponents that they did indeed force quit the app from the PS5 hub. The first time this happened with us up by 7 runs in the bottom of the 3rd (pictured above). I mashed a perfect no-doubter to left field and the opponents rage quit out of the app before the ball had a chance to land. Naturally, the match immediately ended and displayed the stupid Orioles bird as usual. Upon reviewing the match results, I saw that we received the win yet I LOST 30 points.
In the next game, we were up 7-0 in the 5th when the opponent rage-quit from the PS5 hub immediately after striking out. Again, our opponents confirmed that THEY rage quit. Well, this time it decided to give THEM the win. How is this acceptable in a AAA sports game? And how do they not know THIS is happening?:
SDS, do you even care about the integrity of "ranked" gameplay? How do you expect to be taken seriously as a major "e-sport" when you can't even accurately determine the actual winner of the game? As a software engineer, I'm really growing tired of the lack of craftmanship for seemingly simple pieces of logic coded into the game. This is foundational stuff that should just work every time.
It's not like it's some highly-complex graphics engine problem... it's a simple ratings outcome algo. Come on developers, you're better than this.

Embarrassingly broken. SDS can review my co op gameplay record and marvel at the number of games that ended in freeze offs.
If they don’t have the ability to review that, they need new talent. I’m available

First of all, 70% of my co op matches end in freeze offs or my teammate quitting because they can’t hit a bob gibson fastball. And yes, I’ve tried turning off cross play. It makes no difference no matter what anybody in the forums might say.
As a software engineer, SDS SHOULD be ashamed. That’s poor craftsmanship IMO.
With that said, are there any 850-1000 (ps5) ranked players that are tired of the pressure of carrying when playing co op? Any decent players tired of SDS’ terrible matchmaking logic?
If so, hit me up. I think co op ranked is the most fun mode in the game and wish SDS would show it more love. I’m looking for someone who wants to go WS in co op. Peace.
