I’ve been hearing modem is the problem I switched mine today I spectrum to make sure mine wasn’t fault still having problems that being said I’ve heard spectrum modems use the dreaded intel puma chipsets which have latency errors which create ping spikes that kick you offline so I’ve been doing research and found the arris sb6183 is the best bang for your buck it has the broadcam chipset in it that has no latency issues. I’m going to buy it tomorrow so wants I have it setup I will comment back and let you know how my game is working.

Re: Network Connection Errorhaving the same problems switched out the modem today still having problems, from what I have been seeing spectrum Uses modems with the intel puma chipsets which have latency issues. I’m going to buy the arris sb6183, it has the broadcam chipset which doesn’t have latency issues so once I get it set up tomorrow I will let you know how it works.

I bought a new modem that has the Broadcom chipset and Boom no more network errors at all since then. I’m not saying this is your issue but if your modem has the Puma chipset it might be.

I’m having the same problem but I have spectrums modem that has the Puma 7, it has the same problems as the puma 6. So I called spectrum and they are sending me out their modem with the broadcam chipset. I’m hoping this fixes my issues.

I literally have the exact same problem. Ever since I upgraded modem and router for spectrum I have been getting disconnected from DD. Somebody please help!!!

I just ordered the E31T2V1 which is the modem model number that has the broadcam chipset, I have the E31U2v1 which had the puma 7 chipset in it which has latency issues and I’ve heard many people have the same problem as me, they get the one I just got ordered and then everything works again so when it comes I’ll let you know how everything’s working.

I just upgraded to 500 down though spectrum, got a new modem that doesn’t even have a puma chip in it. All of a sudden now I disconnect all the time even though my internet doesn’t skip a beat. All I wanna know is it my modem or is it something on SDS side
