Let me just tell you about the most robbed MLB The Show game you have ever heard.
Bout 10mins ago my buddy and I were playing in a ranked diamond dynasty co-op game and were up 3-0 going into the top of the 9th, up to bat. Oh, and almost forgot, we were 3 OUTS away from getting a no-hitter on the opposing team.
Top of the 9th with no outs I'm up to bat first and I get a base hit single. My buddy is next and by the time he hits a grounder up the middle I've alreadystolen 2nd&3rd to make it an RBI single. During that same hit the opposing team struggled making good throws in the infield resulting with my buddy able to steal 2nd&3rd and running for home when, finally, they throw the ball out of play to advance him in. We're now up 5-0.
Since that play was so crazy I naturally wanted to clip it on my console so I pause the game (since I was up to bat), make the clip, and promptly press circle on my controller to exit out clip maker and pause menu in the game to resume the at bat.
In a perfect world, this is what WOULD HAVE happened and I wouldn't be typing this story right now and would be celebrating a no-hitter with my buddy.
However, immediately when I got back to the start screen, the game glitched and kicked me out to the Diamond Dynasty menu. First had I thought the opposing team surrendered, (I mean who wouldn't after that last at bat) and we won. I was immediately struck down with disbelief when my buddy said he was still in the game and I was paused (even though I was staring at the Dynasty menu). Moments later he said the game ended, he saw the results, and that because I had "LEFT THE GAME", it resulted in a loss for us.
What the actual f. This is the first time this has happened to me and the first time I've heard about it. The game has its many bugs like any other video game but boy oh boy is this the cherry on top. It just makes sense that a bug like that would happen when you're going for a no-hitter but God himself forbid in any other scenario you're losing or not playing well the game will work for you. You would think after years of releasing the same game again and again and again and AGAIN they'd have this figured out by now, but NO, why would they? It is too much to ask for unlike the $69.99 price tag they slap on this buggy, trashy, realistic-wannabe they call a baseball video game.
Long story short, figure your [censored] out SD Studios. And, I'm not a smart guy or anything, but, this is just a suggestion: when you update the game weekly with content and Live Rosters, maybe put in patches to fix this [censored]? Like I said I don't know anything, but perhaps that's something to think about.
