You have to open the software and go through the loading screens. Where you would normally see a disconnect notice, you'll get a dialogue box prompting you to update the software. Accept, and it should work for you.

I have a switch and after the update I'm back online.

Today is Day 6 of the Switch server outage.
It's been 3 days since we got any sort of update from SDS.

Wtf is going on SDS?

Make Berrios your captain. When adding pitchers to your team, filter by "boosted by captain".

Yep, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but no updates at all from them over the weekend indicates that they weren't working on the issue over the weekend.

I'm curious what exactly we paid for when we bought the game. I guess it was just franchise mode without sponsorships and a busted RTTS?

Nor are they providing updates about when the product we purchased will be usable.

Yes. I'm even more frustrated by the fact that they haven't given us any update about it since Friday evening. It gives the impression that they aren't working the issue over the weekend.

Here's the thing,

The Switch has been out since before the pandemic and could have been purchased with a stimulus check by someone who otherwise couldn't have afforded it.

The PS5 and Xbox are expensive? Maybe if you live in a 3rd world country. The reason consoles exist is for the regular person to afford a gaming system without having to buy a gaming computer. A console is a mid-range PC at time of release using cheaper parts to allow large scale production cheap enough at a price point of 700 bucks.

And here we have someone who has grown up with such privilege that they cannot understand that there are a large number of people in the US that can barely afford their basic necessities, to whom an extra $700 represents an almost impossible sum.

Shame on your parents for insulating you, and shame on you for having access to the world and refusing to engage it. As someone else pointed out, your ignorance is astonishing.
