I jump into mini seasons, you select difficulty and I get a message that says "Challenge, your opponent has a invalid roster" has anyone ran into this problem? I'm on game 17 and do not want to restart the entire mini season again?

I usually get tired of the game by Sept-OCT. We are now on season 2, and I feel no desire to play the game, the only reason I keep coming back to is the 99 cards all over the place. I have no clue why SDS decided to let people have 99's off the bat. but for me personally it has killed the game. I'm posting this hoping you guys don't use the same gameplan next year for 2024... let me know if I'm the only one feeling this way.

Why did they decide to come out with 99's right off the jump? it's so awful like this, I understand at the allstar break... and late in the year to start pumping out super cards... but I don't understand the logic behind it. Also after 50 days base set 1 you can't use in ranked? so why did I grind my eyes out for these cards?... I'm remaining hopeful SD studios knows what they are doing but it's not looking good.

@dap1234567890 you don't have a CLUE what you're talking about i can name huge issues with this game off the bat. lets start with the "freeze offs" if you're a casual like i assume you are, you wont mind quiting and moving on with your life when the game freezes and your stuck there until YOU or your opponent quits. but when you're playing for something like (one win away from world series) or deep in BR run losing that game because SDS cant fix a problem thats been going on for 3 YEARS! only shows they really don't care about their game, they only sell copies because its the only REAL baseball game around.

2. people have figured out a way to pause the game and keep others from playing a lot like the "freeze off" you're held hostage until your opponent decides he either wants to play the game or quit. if not you can be sitting their for hours sometimes days. this game runs well, but the fact is SDS refuses to do anything about major issues with the game. i wont be returning for MLB the show 2022

I would say I agree, but they aren't money hungry. you could get all these cards just by playing the game... unlike 2K and EA, with that said I'm not a fan of the crazy cards right off rip. I liked the idea of playing with low 90's for a month, 93-95's for a few months.. and 99's at the all star break. I liked the old way of doing things...

@dap1234567890 I don’t know if you live under a bridge but most of the issues have been going on for years! Don’t make excuses for a company turning a blind eye, there’s no way with the technology now a days that they couldn’t fix a issue with the game freezing in the middle of a game... it’s been going on for over 3 years. It takes one update to fix, major issues like this are fixed within a month with other companies like 2K and EA. SDS doesn’t deserve credit for anything. Put 10 people on glitches in the game and start working to fix them. Updates, updates, updates. It’s time to wake up. You’re clearly not playing online with the amount of glitches going on with the game. I have so many ridiculous game clips of insane glitches, keep in mind the games been out for a little over a month and I already have 10+ clips of the game being trash.

Not sure if it's just an Xbox thing but if you are having trouble throwing with Pinpoint due to lag, plug your controller in it should be smoother for you as well as your PCI, does anyone feel the same way as me about this?

new to the show (first year/xbox player), been doing research into why certain things are happening. I play all sports game at a very high level, and know sports games also come with some BS sometimes,so I already know what I'm getting into, HOWEVER, I'm trying to figure out why a company like SDS has not fixed problems like "freeze-offs" in over 3 years. (thats 3 copies of MLB The show games), I've been reading online issues that date back all the way to 2018? im tired of being one game away from world series and I have to leave my xbox on for 15 hours because somebody won't quit. If you don't know what a freeze off is its because when the game freezes and no inputs on either side work and you're basically their watching a player on the field for however long until someone quits. some wins are important so quiting and taking an L isn't my style specially when I'm winning. so I sit there in my pride, for hours/days until my opponent leaves. SDS seriously? you won't have my money next season until this is fixed. it takes one update to fix. its 2021. get it together.

Freeze offs is where I draw the line. Because people like myself who play competitive will wait days... DAYS FIX IT SDS

@MKExKnyiiGroe_XBL first off you’re on the current Xbox, it’s not a MLB the show issue, your physical hardware can’t keep up with frames put into the game. As for a “priority” your priority should be invested in a next gen console, 85% of the people playing This game have one. And I assure you there’s nothing SDS can do about frame drop, your Xbox can’t support it.
